But Professor Al-Khalili reveals the science behind much of beauty and structure in the natural world and discovers that far from it being magic or an act of God, it is in fact an intrinsic part of the laws of physics. Amazingly, it turns out that the mathematics of chaos can explain how and why the universe creates exquisite order and pattern.
    And the best thing is that one doesn't need to be a scientist to understand it. The natural world is full of awe-inspiring examples of the way nature transforms simplicity into complexity. From trees to clouds to humans - after watching this film you'll never be able to look at the world in the same way again.

    I just couldn't take my eyes off the screen! It's fabulous! Amazing! Finished watching it! I have downloaded it .

    its a great documentary that should be on the national school curriculum, surprised a few here havent watch it in spite of all the plugs its had!

    Maya - please report back and let us know what you thought.  I sometimes wonder if videos like these have a univeral appeal amongst irreligious folk or not..

    A fascinating film, which I saw earlier on. Everyone should have watched it, mainly because it puts right the ideas which man always had that because humans are creators by nature, they think they should be created themselves piggy

    I always find this kind of thing fascinating but my thoughts are usually always forwards into the future.  My thoughts are that from a speck of dust billions of years ago to what we, and everything around us has evolved into now my mind boggles at trying to think what everything, including us, will have evolved into in a billion years from now and then on into infinity. I just can't get my head round it at all.   wacko
