An eight-year-old girl was killed when a bag of explosives given to her by Taliban insurgents exploded as she approached a police outpost in southern Afghanistan.

'The insurgents handed over a bag with a homemade bomb to an eight-year-old girl and asked her to take it to police forces,' the Ministry of Interior said in a statement.

'As the girl was getting close to the police, it exploded and killed the girl.' There were no police casualties

If the Guardian and the Mail are reporting the same story, you can take it as a given that this type of atrocity is still news in the West, (or at least in Britain). And no, killing random 8 year olds won't help one iota against over population. The way to stop over population is to educate the female populace, raise the status of women and cut child mortality rates.

Most of my former Muslim friend and present Muslim friends agree with what I say about these Brutes., In fact they agree that Islam has problem and it has the ability to generate these rogues on and off if the social and political system they are living in unable to provide the living standards they want to have.
