Many liberal or democratic governments are not so strict about wearing the Burka.

For example Turkey, where secular ideas prevail and give people the freedom to

choose if they want to wear a Burka. Meanwhile, in stricter countries, women are

told to wear the Burka and failure to do so can result in beatings, harassment or

other worse punishments! Personally, I do NOT wear a Burka. Never have.

Never will. Just not my thing.

There will always be an exception to every rule. Statistics speak for themselves.

Noone can prove God exists. And noone should have to because that's where FAITH comes in. If you have faith in something you don't have to SEE, FEEL, or TOUCH it. All you need to do is believe.

I can make any sort of assertion on any given matter using that logic. Fine. If that's how you want to play it..

I believe with all my heart that Allah does not merely exist, oh no. As a kindness to all creation, he touched you inappropriately, before opening your skull and shitting in it, as befitting a loving creator. Not all gods would be so considerate.

You know.. this faith business is great. I shall sing orisons in the manner of a true believer from now on. How benighted I have been!

    Kisses,

    toor.

The main purpose of the burqa is for men to control women. Period. It's an amazing brainwashing trick to submit women to men and tell them Allah wants them to dress that way. If they obey Allah they go to heaven and the great paradise watching their husbands have sex with their 72 virgins while they stay in the back of the line. The only place they'll be appreciated and treated with love and be happy is in death. As for real life, :p it's a test so don't even bother trying.

What someone wears is their business. But I don't support the mentality and the reasoning, just the same as I don't support the reasoning why women who dress like sluts to impress men.  I support neither! As a Western women who does dress either way I find it slightly offensive to be used as an example. I have male friends who treat me with respect and as equals. Muslim men need to be trained taught how to treat all women with respect and not judge based on what they wear. They demand they dress and act a certain way or else they have no excuse for them to suddenly sexual assault by the same men. It makes me sick.  I'm also tired of hearing debates about what is a proper hijab and what isn't. Judgement on all levels! I am not a diamond or gem to be hidden. Diamonds and Gems are horrible material items which man bestows value upon and then kill each other over. I'd be insulted if someone referred to me as a precious gem. And sure in my society I'm always being surrounded by magazines of models and standards of what make women beautiful. Do I give a shit no! I wear a bright red wig, I dress all black an punk like to essentially tell the world. Fuck you I don't care about your standards. Did I need God help me do that. Nope. After being educated I've just kind of figured that out and I am so happy, I have nobody to be measured against, nobody to impress. I'm just me. I wear what I wear because it's comfortable and convenient.

Again if women want to wear the burqa, whatever go ahead. As they argue they have the same right as a women who wear slutty clothes. Whatever, but I get sooooo annoyed being judged by society as I do by religious hypocrites.
Hijabs I actually like because they can be fashionable and I think more modern Muslim women wear them as an identity thing not for submission, since more hijabis participate in modern society without being hindered (most times). I have Muslims friends online and I'm making a hijab game for them. So before you accuse me of anything mind you there are particular reasonings I hate and those that I accept on this issue.

Woman truly is the most wretched of the earth.

If any creed had a component that said black people had to cover themselves from head to toe in a shroud, it would be reviled.

When it is women who are an innately evil stump of flesh that need to be covered from head to toe and snuffed out, they are so wretched, to revile it is protested against, it is apologised for and justified, not just by the adherents, who invoke a principle of individual freedom to justify a collective negation of such extreme misogynistic malevolence, but also by people outside the religion too.

Women, even the societies who claim to seek to uplift you, are too cowardly to speak up for you in the face of this malevolent symbol.

To too many, you really are the scum of the earth, and the silences, and apologia proves it.

The apologia highlights the pathetic human susceptibility to deception.
