I can't find "month" as a singular 12 times in the Quran, can anyone else?

btw the Muslim guy explaining this 'miracle' is one of Harun Yahya's team. I was going to use a clip of him explaining the "Female Bee" miracle, but decided not to on Rationaliser's advice - as he has in the past had vids removed claiming copyright. He doesn't like anyone to pull his stuff apart and he has quite a formidable team of people working for him. I suspect you will be OK, but if the view count went through the roof you might come to his attention and the vid could be flagged.

How could he flag my videos, if I'm not breaching the fair use policy?
At the end of that video, the guy claims that anyone is free to use that video for spreading the message of Islam - is there some special copyright that isn't applicable to muslims or what?

You are confusing what the law says with what youtube will do. If he files a DMCA against you then your video will disappear. If you decide to contest it you have to state that the video contains only your material and that you take full legal responsibility if HY decides to counter claim in court. If you tick the box saying that you are using his stuff under fair use then YT might pull it anyway to avoid potential court proceedings.

Someone once wrote to me who used to have an entire channel debunking HY videos, but HY filed multiple DMCAs which resulted in his channel getting closed down.

The trick is, that the miracle claimers have a lot to choose from:

- They can choose which words they show,
- they can choose which grammatical form they count and
- they can choose whether or not or what to count at call.

With all those possible choices it is just a matter of time, till someone finds suitable words for his claim. And indeeed, many of those wordcounts are based on different methods of counting (different grammatical forms), just to make it fit. The most popular example is the word yawm (day) where they count singular forms of day, including those with prefix but excluding those with suffix. It then looks like a great coincidence, when they claim that "day appears 365 times" - but only because the hearer does not know all the other ways of counting and interpreting.
