On a serious note, I think this is a great idea.  I tend to change my routine every few months anyway (because I get abit depressed if I don't).

I am the queen of 30 days challenges, done so many of them in the last few years, some were very positive, some were very bad.

1- 30 days of eating fruit only: disaster results, bad digestion, and joint pain as a results
2-30 days vegan: it was not too bad, but not too good
3-30 days of being a carnivore (eating just meat and animal products): this was the best, I felt great lots of energy, and lost loads of weight.  I managed to stick with it for over a year.
4- 30 days of eating just seafood, I am normally fond of seafood, but got so sick of it

and so many other challenges I can not even remember lol

I want to do a 30 days challenge of something else, but I am suffering from inertia recently, perhaps burdened with my non-Islamic thoughts, now that I faced my daemons, I can perhaps do a challenge.
Oh Challenges are so much easier to do in a group, if one starts a 30 day challenge thread here – or various ones,  the rest of us would join whatever challenge they want to do and encourage each other Smiley
But I am not joining the Ramadan 30 days challenge, I did Ramadan and IF (intermittent fasting, which is like Ramadan, only one is allowed to drink, just abstain from water) and I really am not fond of it.

Maybe my 30 day challenge should be tidying my house for those days. Wouldnt that be a novel ideal lol

Ella mate... resolved this issue by getting myself a cleaner, comes once a week, works 3 hours and the house is cleaned top to bottom, when the cleaner is done the house is sparkling clean.  Well worth every single penny I tell ya!!

Staying off the computer and going outside for 30 days instead of staying at home would be a good 30 day challenge for me.  Afro

You know what, whenever I wanted to do a chellenge, I spent at least a day beforehand making du'a and asking Allah to give me the strength to be able to go through the challeng, this really psyched me up and I believe it helped me.... but now what?? Who should I ask for help and strength   Cry

My cleaner costs me £6.5 per hour... I think its worth it as I prefer to spend spare time either out enjoying myself or reading /surfing the net.

Haha yea, no I can't afford that yet.  Single mum, soon to be struggling uni student.  I am my cleaner..........................or I should be. Grin

    Anyway more real list:

1 - Clean my house everyday for 30 days
2 - No sugar (natural as in fruits, or any type of sugar........and this actually includes bacon since its converted to sugar in your system), processed foods, dairy, yeast, wheat, caffeine etc, for 30 days.
3 - No smoking weed/hash for 30 days..............................yea right, like this one is going to happen any time soon.
4 - Read everyday..............been so long since I lost myself that way.
5 - Write something everyday, no matter what, no matter how long/small, just write.
6 - Carry on smiling everyday.

Will think of more that I can forget to do for 30 days.

Inhale the good shit, exhale the bullshit.

Totally understand Ella Smiley  if you are going to be a student then its going to be very hard.  I was going to suggest getting someone for a couple of hours every two weeks, this way you can do a light clean one week yourself and the other left to the cleaner.

Saying that, my cleaner only cleans the communal areas in the place, e.g. bathrooms kitchen and living room, I still have to clean the bedrooms, do the laundry and the ironing.  So don't get away with doing nothing !!

Oh and I woud never do a challenge to clean your house for every day for 30 day, you will just hate it so much, perhaps develope depression or something if you are like me  lol,   perhaps you can make a schedule, like for one day do 1 hour cleaning the bathroom, the next day 1 or 2 hours cleaning the kitchen etc, this way you only have to clean for one or two hours and reward yourself with something nice after Smiley
