    OK I just want to vent because this guy has pissed me off.

    He has mirrored all our videos and those of others like Nessrriinn etc...

    That's fine!

    But as we state on our channel we would like it simply acknowledged that they have been mirrored and a link put to our channel.

    He clearly doesn't want to and the fact that he has a links to FFI and AliSina.org may be a clue why.

    When I realised he had mirrored our vids and not given us credit I politely asked him to do so.

    He said:

    "I did not had that much time to message different people just to ask them for their permission and then wait for their Reply "Saying, Yes"..........Even if they had said no, I would have uploaded it any way.

    The videos are for public, so anyone can upload it, and they too know that very well. As for there info in the info box, I will do that soon. Take care"


    That was 5 month ago.

    So I asked him again.

    He still didn't put the link.

    So I asked him yet again.

    He just blanked it.

    So I posted this message on each and every video he mirrored:

    This video has been mirrored from CEMBadmins, please let your viewers know this is not your video but has been mirrored from CEMBadmins. Thank you.

    Now, I just noticed today that he has gone round to each video, painstakingly deleting each of them.

    WTF!!!!

    Didn't he say he didn't have time to add the acknowledgment in the info box?

    If he had time to delete each comment - couldn't he have posted that info in the info box.

    The guy is clearly dishonest and doesn't want people to know the vids came from us - while at the same time proudly displaying the FFI and AliSina.org sites.

    Cheeky fucker.  I just put a note under one of his vids, but he'll probably just remove that too.

    I can see that not only have you not acknowledged that you have mirrored our videos as I requested, but you have now deleted the messages I posted on each video you mirrored saying:

    What a wanker! He has just deleted my polite requests to put a link to our channel and also Muddy's and whoever else it was from here who posted a request to link to our channel.

    He's obviously a moron, too stupid to make his own material, too stupid to understand anything about how much work goes into making intelligent videos, too stupid to cultivate relationships and networks with like-minded people online. His profile says he's in Pakistan, why am I not surprised.

    Why not just go ahead and let Youtube deal with it?

    What's the worst thing he could do? Badmouth CEMB? I'd say, given his other friends, it probably doesn't matter if he does..

    He sounds from his comments and total narcissism/lack of concern about anyone else like a very angry-at-the-world-to-the-point-of-blind-hatred type of exmuslim. Guess it should not be surprising that he has links to those particular sites on his channel.

    I really shouldn't let an idiot like this wind me up. But it really annoys me that he clearly doesn not want to link to CEMB and but wants to use our videos - while at the same time promoting FFI and alisina.org - which I do not want to be associated with in any shape or form.

    Since day one my criticisms of Islam (I think fair and balanced) have been plagued by bigots, haters, racists and scumbags and it really puts me off making vids or contributing to this whole thing.

    In fact I made the decision to call it a day and only recently decided to come back - but this moron reminded me why I was sick of all this as if I needed another reminder.

    Hassan, if you decide to continue to make videos, add a watermark in the bottom corner.

    FunnyVideosArchive were constantly getting ripped off by another channel called FailBlog. FailBlog would mirror every single one of their videos and leech loads of subscribers and views off the back of them. Then FunnyVideosArchive added the FVA in the bottom corner and, obviously, they stopped getting ripped off.

    Yep, suggested that to Hassan earlier. But removing current vids will lose us views and comments already up there AFAIK.

    Bear in mind though, that if you take down the originals and re-upload, the leecher will have an older upload time than you.

    There's no point in going back over old ones, but from now on any vids on our channel should be watermarked.

    You can add anotations when you click Edit Video. Although Font name, size and color are limited. I just added CEMB at 0:21-0:27

    Oh and let's say HI to "RisingAtheist" as a little birdie told me that he may be reading this thread right now. Of course, having the courage to post a response and engage in a conversation is not something we can expect of someone who refuses to give credit where credit is due and deletes comments willy nilly while supposedly fighting a totalitarian ideology .
