Using only my longer posts here - a fairly even divison between David Foster Wallace, H. P. Lovecraft and Dan Brown.

I thought he was good personally.

It was his book that led to my journey towards apostasy funnily enough.  What a crazy impetuous time and spur.

Ohh Mary Shelley Afro she wrote Frankenstein matey. That too at the impressive age of 16 (I think) and as a coursework assignment. Grin

This quiz has enlightened me, either Dan Brown is a very common writer who got lucky, or that we're all prize winning writers.

    Cheesy

My prose is like that of H.P. Love Craft the great horror writer.

My poertry is like Shakespeare's Unfortuneately, it is unlikely that they have Archilochus.

This is the first thing that I thought too  wacko

Or maybe it's all randomly selected.

    Novel: arthur clarke

    Blog post/essay: H.P. Lovecraft

Every single poem of mine comes up as a different author: anne rice, bram stoker, oscar wilde, margaret atwood

This is pants or I have multiple personality syndrome Grin

    essay - HP lovecraft (Who?)

    Are you kidding?

@ thread: I used portions of my blog and my introductory thread.

Writing about painting = Vladimir NABOKOV.

Enthusing about Shadow of the Colossus = Harry HARRISON, with the end of the entry like H.G. WELLS.

This one is my favourite: writing about my mother getting robbed AND my blog analysis on the qur’an = James JOYCE. Yay! dance

Some consistency at last! Though… Joyce didn’t really have a CONSISTENT writing style throughout his literary career. In fact, Ulysses wildly swaps styles with each chapter.

Unfortunately, my Intro Thread = Dan Brown! Cry

i write like myself, i write stream-of-consciously and like to have my words flow and swallowed up like the sea -- just imagine yourself on the beach, your mouth open, taking it all in... how beautiful... yeh that's what i try to do. when i type i really do it consciously, because i think it's the best way to express myself. my inspirations have always been writers who write with urgency and chaos, not the ones who have dots. on. every. other. word. it becomes really dull and lacks soul.

i also sometimes avoid capitals because it's less authoritative and i'm not boss. really, fuck language rules. the irony is that i'm a bit of a grammar nazi but i always fight against it because language is an art not a science, as long as it makes sense then it's all a-okay!

I got like, 4 different writers. I don't think it's random, I just think it's wildly inaccurate and inconsistent.

Also, someone who is less lazy than me should paste excerpts there from these people's actual works to see if the program analyzes them correctly.
