  • Recommend things
     OP - July 24, 2011, 09:49 AM

Just thought it would be fun if we have a thread to recommend current stuff, mainly things to do, movies to watch and books to read.

I'll start, went to the cinema yesterday to watch Bridesmaids, hilarious, good movie to watch Smiley

    Plant some seeds Smiley
Cosmos flowers are a good one to start with because they're so easy to grow; literally you just scatter the seeds on the ground. They look nice planted amongst vegetables too.
Also radishes; they'll pop up in days and soon you'll have nice little plump red radishes to eat grin12
If you don't have a garden try cut and come again salad leaves in a pot.

Azure,  I started planting this summer, planted about 5 fruit trees and some flowers.  I wanted to plant veg as well, but I needed a lot of garden digging etc...  I sort of given up a bit, but yes its good to plant.

This year I have planted my first veg garden ever and we've been eating the produce. It has been such a fun thing to do and I love going out every morning to check how much the plants have grown. It'll be runner beans time in a few days Smiley

Persevere with the digging Fara7 and maybe next year you'll have some veg.

I got around to seeing the latest Pirates of the Caribbean the other day. Completely bonkers, as always. Better than some of the earlier sequels too. So, my film recommendation is..............

    OK, back to recommendations lol.

If you are a woman like me who spent a lot of time and money trying to find the perfect eye pencil that wont end up under your eyes and making you look like a racoon... I recommend this Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Eye Pencil
    http://reviews.esteelauder.com/3818/4539/reviews.htm?page=2

If you are wondering why don't I use a liquid one, I just didn't like the liquid eyeliners, they just didn't look right, the pencil looks softer, beside you can't put the liquid inside the eyes.

I also found their concealer really good.
