Aphrodite - you support one or the other? Or another altogether?

    United  Smiley

This place is full of glory hunters.

I've always supported United, ever since I was 7, not my fault they have a knack for winning  Tongue

Oh I don't know, Man Utd glory hunters always seem to me to be more smug than even other glory hunters, folks who support Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea, who aren't from Merseyside or London. Spoilt by success.

Anyway, Chelsea look to be finding their groove. City have no excuse not to win the title this season. Silva is a beautiful player.

Notwithstanding the fact that had I been a true golry hunter my team should have been Liverpool, as they won everything in the seventies and eighties, there is not much choice  left for pakistanis of yonder years to support other teames rather than the ones on the telly the most.

Unlike my english friends when young, did not have an old man into football, or an older brother who supported/attended the local second division team, so to speak.

I love the adjective you applied to Silva, beautiful - describes him brilliantly - need to keep him quiet tomorrow.

I am my own worst enemy and best friend, itsa bit of a squeeze in a three-quarter bed, tho. Unhinged!? If I was a dog I would be having kittens, that is unhinged. Footloose n fancy free, forced to fit, fated to fly. One or 2 words, 3 and 3/thirds, looking comely but lonely, till I made them homely.D

Heavens above!! It was painful to watch and I am still numb now. We were due a tonking, ven with a man sent off and some weird team selection, man city were awesome. I can remember losing to Ipswich 6-o in 1978 and a few 5-0 defeats at the hands of Newcastle and I think Chelsea in more recent times but today was the day the bummer got bummed.

Usually it is Arsenal or Chelsea that build a good lead in the table at this time and usually when either travel away in the winter months up north to play the likes of Bolton, Blackburn and Wigan, the London teams find it hjard going to pick all three points, man City are a northern team to begin with.

Wont disagree with the bookies that Man City look good for the title, but a look back in history tell you that whenever another team raises the bar, Fergie matches it. Witness Arsenal in the late nineties and Chelsea, when they won back-to-back titles a few yaers back, each time MUFC came back stronger.

This time who knows if Fergie has got the years left to repeat matching and surpassing the raised bar.

Thankfully lol, I don't know any Man City fans.

Lol, so when ramsey scores, major public figures die the next day, apart from Jobs, dying four days later, I suppose he is the exception that proves the rule.

That didn't bother me so much. After the Champions League debacle the Cup was only ever going to be a poor consolation prize.
