Papiss Cisse further proving that he's incapable of scoring ordinary goals.

Arsenal vs Chelsea - Arsenal did well but eventually midfield spiraled out of control. Here's Wenger's interpretive dance of the situation:

Demba B does the business for us once again. He's back into scoring braces again.  Effortless. :yaomeme:

I can't thank Allah enough for this man.

I havent watched good match like Sevilla vs Barca yesterday. It was like a final game, Sevilla were leading 2-0 until last 5 minutes Barca equalised and won 3-2.  Cesc scored two goals.

Chelsea always amuses me, this is the seventh or eight manager they have sacked since Abramovich came, despite that RDM won Champions league that they have been yearning for all those years, they still sack him.

They sacked Ancelotti so they could get AVB. He 'failed'. Now they sacked Di Matteo so they can sack Benitez so they can hire Guardiola. What happens when Guardiola fails, is the question. Roman is putting all his eggs in one Messi-less basket. And why would Guardiola want to work for him anyway.

Still, never a dull day supporting Chelsea.

You could only complain if you'd never won anything but its worked quite well so far.

Will be interesting to see what happens if Chelsea fail to win anything for a period of time with Roman's chop and change strategy - could be a bit of a meltdown there.

I reckon Benitez could do well - steel up the defence and you could win the league, especially if you get Falcao in January

1 league title in 6 years is a failure considering the investment afaic. Cup competitions might bring bragging rights but league position is the only halfway reliable indicator of a team's standing. Could have dominated English football if he'd kept Mourinho, but Abramovic was too impatient for pretty football and only 5 years later are Chelsea getting close to that. Now he's ignored Barca's academy and footballing culture and thinks Guardiola will be enough to turn Chelsea into tiki taki masters.

I rate Benitez as a manager but the fans will be on his back at the first sight of trouble, too much bad blood there, and it took him several years at Valencia and Liverpool to build them up from defensively solid foundations into high scoring, exciting teams. Falcao would complete a dream attack but spending 50 million on another forward after what happened last time... I can only see it happening if Atletico accept Torres as a make-weight.

I dont see the need of signing Falcao for a hefty transfer fee when there is Torres whose confidence will be boosted by the presence of Benitez who brought him to England. Benitez is a good manager but he is too much of a tinkerman and a lots like these wont make a long term impact on the team, I'm afraid he is going to get an axe by the end of the season or next mid-season.

Speaking Guardiola, it would be lovely to see him replace Wenger at Ashburn Grove but i dont see that happening.

No one seems to dislike Benitez more than manure fans. He was one of the few managers who wasn't afraid to stick it to Lord Ferg.

Fact is Benitez over-achieved with the Liverpool squad he had, and Liverpool were progressing in a similar manner to his Valencia side, until the pantomime behind the scenes pulled the club down into a hole they are still in. If Pulis or Allardyce or old 'Arry got anywhere near the european cup the old boy's club in the english media would have creamed themselves.

Someone needs to convince Neymar that playing in a European league would be good for his development before the world cup. This guy seems to be twice as good every game as the last. Used to think he was just another brazillian ballerina that would fade before he really got going, but... god damn. mysmilie_977

I couldn't agree more Grin  Sometimes i wish the English media can tone down their sentiments and hype just for the sake of players who are burden with the unnecessary pressure.

Yeah he's a good manager. You don't break the duopoly of Real Madrid and Barcelona as he did twice with Valencia, win a UEFA cup, a Champions League, reach another final and build a team that almost won the league by being a clown.

Fergie seems to still be crying about something, he's already stuck his red nose where it doesn't belong and attacked Rafa. How long did that take, one day?

He was right, that's what really grated the Lord Ferg worshippers in the media. Even a former referee admitted the FA let him influence their official selection.

I think Wenger should sign Demba Ba since he is going to cost only £7 million and give Walcott whatever he wants for him to sign the new contract.

Sorry,The Demba but we need your favourite player for Champs League Tongue
