    interesting article:

    http://www.sportingintelligence.com/2011/08/12/arsenals-net-spending-of-48m-in-a-decade-puts-them-9th-in-premier-league-120802/

arsenal are 9th in the net spending table having spent  £460million net less than 1st placed chelsea over the last decade. above arsenal also are the likes of stoke, sunderland and aston villa. moreover arsenal have only spent £5million net more over the last decade compared with 14th placed everton.

Im glad Arsenal have won the home game. All they need to do is to get an away goal and sit back or score more which they are capable of doing so.

After reading this link, im becoming sure that wenger's target is just Champions League spot.

hell, it's even a sad day for myself as a Man utd supporter to see the old rivalry of the late 90's disintegrate, my favorite game ever was the 98/99 FA cup semi final replay too bad we can't get the same atmosphere again

Even with my red-tinted specs on, that Haaland challenge was horrible.

I loved Keane the player, but despaired at Keane the psycho.

(The psycho side cost him his career as a manager.)

My favourite Keano moment was when he dragged us to victory against Juventus (from 0-2 down), knowing that he was suspended for the final.

    Yes, glad Arsenal got through.

that was probably the best captain's performance i ever saw

arsenal were really brave tonight. kept attacking and never went negative. in the second half were passing the ball around like nasri and cesc never left. quite proud of the team. old trafford next........

Interesting to see who he signs now, if he signs anyone at all.

There is a teeny tiny element of that, but I make it a rule to support all English clubs in Europe.

City are going to test that rule to the limit this year, though.

i wouldn't be too displeased as long as we signed a couple of good center halves. if Everton want 15 million for jagielka, we should pay it and he'd form a strong partnership with vermaelen. scott dann would also be a good player to have on the bench. squillaci and koscielny are just not good enough imo. i know people are crying out for a midfeilder now that cesc and nasri have left but i wouldn't be too dissapointed if we didn't sign one.
