I enjoyed the your videos btw.

Of course I understand why you can't show your face, but the strange blurred-out image of you talking with things wrapped around your face is not a very inviting image for your audience. I don't show my face anymore either of course, but I have slide-shows to go along with my words. You might find that a better method. Just a suggestion of course. Smiley

which videos did u like and disliked? Wink

yeh saif said similar but im considering making the image more sharper so u can see face but not really... u'll see what i mean if u watch video ill upload soon

i think im being wayy to careful coz even with an ip-address you can't actually get an address and i know ZERO muslims in my real life so i dont think its very plausible that they can find who/where i am so i think i can afford to be less "demonic" as saif put it loooooool

what do you think about my approach? I personally hated the ending of my more recent video... i didn't like how i ended that video but my laptop kept crashing and i just couldn't be bothered to re-render after a while

Whats with the confusion? I prefer it that way because I can't pretend to be muslim at all even to save my life... I can't even say walaikumassalam anymore to a muslim coz it just makes me feel unauthentic and "dhimmified"...

@HASSAN:  orite cool. Yeh im glad i managed to get it out before ramadan. That video has the highest views of any other video on my channel. Sadly muslims seem to not realize that when someone criticizes your views you are meant to see if they are right or not... i get messages like "Anti-islam video" and i think,,, "erm yes... anddd??"

they think labeling a video anti-Islam makes it void and debunked :s

and because of this they fail to even consider the points raised.... sigh... got tons of work on our hands it seems to turn this broken ship around

Where do you live that you don't know a single Muslim in real life? Bumfuck, Alabama?

Eh, I don't understand the big deal about that. I know non-Muslims who say it just to be polite. Hell I've had non-Muslims greet me with the salams before. And for a lot of native Arabic speakers it's just a way of saying hello, while it may come from religion, doesn't necessarily mean the person using it is religious anymore than a Spanish speaker saying ojala is actually appealing to Allah. Someone can correct me here if I'm wrong, but it's my understanding that in some Middle Eastern/North African countries Christian Arabs use the salams too.

Huh? which member is saying my videos are his/hers?

I believe Muhammad did lie but I never said that's all he did. He suffered from delusions etc but I think at the end of the day he knew that he was no prophet and he was conning the people around him...

Okay.. Please forgive me, but there is a member that has your vids in their siggie, and I thought
it was theirs.  Just humor me for a moment.

My youtube username is "relativelyclear".  If you are who you say you are,
you emailed me, and I emailed you back.  Can you tell me what you asked
me and what I responded?  If you recall, I deeply apologize, and hold the
    utmost respect for your vids.

Well, because I am expected to say it simply because im pakistani. Even my brother who's getting married to an ex-muslimah tells me i have to say asalamualaikum wen i go see the family... by not say salam, i inject variation into muslims lives Wink

@hassan:  i don't blame you for saying that but is that really a generalization? i mean last time i checked there were thousands of muslims on european streets threatening murder while millions were keeping quiet and tacitly approving them

i personally feel more muslims are extremists than not-extremists... i dont know why people think otherwise.. it is so obvious when you go to any muslim forum, they are filled with rage...

Most Muslims are not eager to kill anyone who draws a cartoon of Muhammad - even most of those in the demos wouldn't.

Are you also implying that Muslims who didn't demonstrate actually support killing the cartoonists?

btw my daughter, my sister, brother and many other of my family member and friends "did not go to the demos" - are they "tacitly" supporting killing cartoonists?

i was just quoting ali sina. don't mean i endorse every letter...

i find too many muslims are extremists that's all..

i also think that we r lying to ourselves if we think most muslims are peace-loving...

my own cousins told me that i should b killed and one of them describes herself as moderate... the other i expected to say that

in uk there have been secret filming of mosques where imams are openly preaching violence and hate and all muslims are sat there listening

i watched ur vid hassan about how u disagreed with wife beating in mosque and a person came after said "good you did that"...

everyone was silent while u were criticizing and even after only one person came and agreed with u...

  • Re: Hello, I am ExmuslimNfree

not just uk mosques... germany, france... everywhere and muslims just listen

go to youtube and search "Future of islam lecture" and you get an imam preaching in australia about the future of islam and all he talks about is muslim conquests of the 7th centuries

quote: "The byzantine and persians were big super powers like the ones you find today. The Muslims broke their backs"... everyone listens...

Here's the problem-- you can't back up any of these claims with hard data and solid methodology. You cannot consider a protest of religious militants to be a representative sample of the religion's adherents as a whole, nor can you possibly know how many Muslims are critical of the militants, openly or otherwise-- you can only guess.

But, if you do like most people here, and criticize the religion rather than making assumptions about all of its adherents, you don't run into this problem-- there is hard evidence that Islam is superstition, and that it has many nasty, immoral and destructive elements. One can back this up quite easily by pointing to the Quran and hadith itself-- no need for assumptions, generalizations, or guesswork.

The only reliable way to judge Muslims themselves is to judge what each individual Muslim believes and practices, not draw sweeping generalizations from unscientific observations of what some Muslims do-- that just opens the door for unethical discrimination against people cause they happened to be raised in a family that believes in one superstition over the others out there.

I don't trust this guy called exMuslimNfree..  wacko

Perhaps you might feel more at home at FFI et al.

I take it he's already familiar with FFI given he's quoted Ali Sina-- let's talk with him here before telling him to fuck off elsewhere, shall we? He may be open to reason, but has unfortunately had the experience of dealing with FFI folks instead of rational ex-Muslims and secular critics of Islam-- it's an opportunity to expose him to a different perspective on the topic.

i find too many muslims are extremists

    As does everyone here.

    Quote
    that's all..

    No, that's not all.

    Quote
i also think that we r lying to ourselves if we think most muslims are peace-loving...

How about refraining from ANY assumptions since there is no conclusive evidence that most Muslims believe or practice what the militants of Islam believe and practice?
