Hi guys ^^ first day here but I'm a huge metal fan. I even play bass in a metal band but here are some songs which are simply astonishing in my opinion:

    Foul Body Autopsy by Necrophagist

    Stigma Diabolicum by Belphegor

    Dechristianized by Vital Remains

I already want to take a nap tomorrow.

When I was at a metal concert a while ago, I heard a song "balls to the wall" or something like that. I thought it was really good. Seems to be some fairly famous German (?) metal band's song but can't remember their name. Anyway, there you have it. Even an illiterate about the whole metal genre can contribute something to the thread Smiley

I greatly look forward to schizo's metal posts.

`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad.  You're mad.'
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'

Dead Congregation! I have yet to check out their latest album but the first one was quite impressive.

So... did you actually see Accept perform, or was it just played as a musical interlude?  Smiley

Ah, Accept! Now I remember their name. The original lead singer was there so that's why he performed with that song. The whole audience went nuts when they heard it. He had this funny thing where he said "allright, thank you!!!" in a super high pitched voice after every song Grin Anyway, it was preeeeetty good. But the main band was Sabbathon, they were OK I guess.

There were young bands playing in the park at Osaka Castle today.

Kanadete Sōrō had something about them. Something this clip doesn't do justice.

I wanted to pay tribute to Terry Jones (no, not the Monty Python guy) vocalist from the British heavy/doom metal band Pagan Altar. Poor Terry passed away on Friday after a year-long battle with cancer. He left behind (among many loved ones) his brilliant guitarist/songwriter son Alan, who hopefully will carry on the legacy of his father with the band. I had the honour of witnessing their live performance five years ago and it was one of the best nights of my life.

I'll never forget his amazing stage presence and his mesmerizing voice (which is an acquired taste, I'll give you that). Rest in peace, bard.

Hello every, didn't know where to post this so I put it here, seems appropriate (Don't think it warrants it's own thread).

anyways, I am going to download festival(UK) and hellfest in france in June and ending my trip with zz top in amsterdam. I'm going with a friend of mine for the whole trip (total 3 weeks) and going to be camping, lemme know if anyone is going to either festival and we'll do a mini metal CEMB meetup.
I'll also be stopping by in London, Paris, Brussels(not 100%) and amsterdam  cheers

     This is awesome Kulay!

I'm not going to any Summer festival unfortunately. But I am going to a Spring one  grin12

That's right, I'll be seeing Fates Warning perform Awaken the Guardian in its entirely with John Arch! I can die happy after that. Got my ticket for this a year ago, too.

Syrian Metal Is War. A documentary by a friend in Syria that I have known since he was 15 years old and before the "uprising" started over there. Brought him on as a writer to my magazine and I had also decided to add the band he managed, Eulen, to my record label at the time. They started this documentary in Syria and are continuing it from Greece which is where he was able to finally immigrate to once he became of age.
