When I was as much of a muslima as I've ever been, the only things stopping me from having sex were the lack of suitable males in my life + my low self-esteem. Also fear of getting caught, since I lived with my parents and wasn't even allowed sleepovers at girlfriends' houses. All it took was a bit of freedom to turn me into a slag
I wouldn't have felt guilty if I'd had pre-marital sex when I was a sort of muslima because I figured sex was good and pure if it was with someone you loved. Same way as I felt about music. Pre-marital sex probably was one of the reasons I left Islam but I'd say it was one of the smaller issues seeing as I didn't think it was a bad thing to start off with.

I didn't bleed until several years after I lost my virginity. Don't know why. It didn't seem to make much difference.
