Then again, Bodie's death really saddened me even though I kept reminding myself of what he did to Wallace (but it's all in the game, as Omar would say), on the other hand I really doubt I'd feel any sadness over Walt's passing (if it happens) because he's not a victim of the circumstances, nor did he do what he did out of loyalty and principle.     I think when he starts cooking he does do it out of selflessness for his family. But that changes.

    I'm rewatching all the true blood seasons, and I have to say once again, season 2 was and will always be my favourite.

    I'd love to have partied at one of Maryanne's parties.  Grin

    I think he did. You can say it wasn't exclusively for his family, but that impulse to leave something behind, especially with a daughter on its way, was part of his initial motive.

    Season two was the shit, but I think I like the first one more.

    Speaking of which, I finished the fifth season yesterday. I love that show, no matter how bad it gets  001_wub How did you like it?

Thought suppressing is what makes our thoughts fester into guilt, obsession and darker appetites.

    Yeah I think it was really all about going out with a bang. He thought he was going to die soon so why keep being a boring Chemistry teacher? Why not do something crazy with the last few months of his life? The family thing was just a way to justify it to himself.

    But I did sympathise with him at first, that scene when he caused that explosion in Tuco's office was just awesome, it was all about brains over brawl, even the hardcore drug lord was scared shitless of him after that incident.


    As the seasons went on it was clear that he didn't really love his family, his cooking was really just an excuse to escape from his mundane family life. But yeah I agree with Berbs, the only character I had any sympathy for towards the end was Jesse even though he was such a dumbass earlier on.

    Dexter season 7 starts tomorrow <3

    I am so pumped for it. Bursting to know what happens after that breathtaking cliffhanger. That inevitable conclusive moment that I guess most fans had been waiting for throughout the series. I have no clue how the storyline can survive that and go on for another two seasons. Gonna be pleasantly surprised I hope.

    gonna go on the run..........or maybe those titles are misleading me

    As you can see, I have already planned for the return of dexter and a load of other shows..........Grin  yes, I did go that far in my quest to know when everything is starting up again Cheesy

    The only one missing from that list is Breaking Bad, and that is because I hadn't started watching it's awesomeness before making this list.

    I am rationing season 5 of BB. I burned my way through the other seasons, sometimes watching 3 episodes a night. Have to hold myself back from watching them. Will watch episode 4 this weekend.

    Anyone know when the final 8 episodes will be broadcast in America?

    Yeah, the final season is split in two halves of 8 episodes each so in total 16 episodes!

    First half is done, I guess next summer the second half will be out  Smiley

    For those who have seen Breaking Bad season 5 episode 8 (don't you dare click it billy):

    Am I the only one who thought that scene with Hank on the toilet was the end of Breaking Bad? I thought it was all over the moment he read W.W., like the writers had left the rest up to the viewers imagination. Walt and Jesse were out, the Whites had a nice family moment like it was all gonna be ok and all that happily ever after jazz, then Hank gets the final clue as a final twist like 'You honestly thought he was gonna get away with it? Nu-uh.' The End.

    Let's say we had no clue that the final season was 16 eps split in two. It would have been a nice ending and I would have been actually satisfied. However, there is one thing: the flash-forward during the first few minutes of S05E01, where we see Walt (supposedly) on the run, lonely, and purchasing a big-ass gun for goat knows what reason. THAT still needs to be addressed, I think.

    Shows I'm pumped about:

    Boardwalk Empire, 3rd season (I know it's started already, but I haven't gotten around to watching the first two eps.
    30 Rock, 7th and final season (I'm going to miss it so much)
    American Horror Story, 2nd season (it better be as good as the first)
    Homeland, 2nd season
    Community, 4th season (not sure about that one, I didn't like the previous season, and they fired Harmon, so...)
    Spartacus, last seaon (whyyyyyyyyyyyy are they ending it Cry )

    Stuff I'm feeling "meh" about

    Dexter: I'm done with the show but I guess I'll still watch, eventually.
    Parks and Rec: Last season wasn't very good, and judging from the first ep of the 5th... yawn.

    There's of course Mad Men, Game of Thrones, True Blood, Breaking Bad, but they're so far into the future I can't really get excited about them yet.

    Since it's new season time, I just watched the new episodes of South Park, Modern Family, the Big Bang theory, The Middle and Law and Order SVU. Modern Family's opening was the best. The others were quite mehish, even for season openers, nothing too exciting. Let's hope Family Guy and the Simpsons are less underwhelming.
