What have you been watching lately?

Due to Ramadhan's boredom and our moving to a new place with no internet so far, I've done quite a lot of watching:

    - Dexter – Season four: Much, MUCH better than season two and three. For once I found myself giving an actual shit about what was happening to the man. Well, unfortunately I already knew what was going to happen at the very last moment of the season, but it didn’t take anything away. I might even watch season five, though I hear it’s the weakest of the bunch.
    - The Borgias: classic Showtime period piece, very similar to The Tudors, but slightly better. It didn’t seem like much was happening during the nine episodes but the visual gorgeousness made up for it. Some good acting in there (not Jeremy Irons, though. He sucked balls)
    - Camelot: ugh. Worst show EVER. Stay away. Thankfully it got cancelled.
    - Spartacus – Gods of the Arena: very nice prequel to a show that started out awfully ridiculous and became super awesome halfway through. And we got to see Batiatus <3
    - Community – Seasons one and two: OMFG best comedy on air. The hilariousness doesn’t stop.
    - Mad Men – Season four: I had watched the first three last summer and stopped because I wanted to have something to look forward to beside a fifth season that almost didn’t happen. And now that I’m done I have two things to say: a) Amazing show, easily in my top 5 ever, and b) fucking March 2012 is too far away

Shows I’m watching weekly as they air:

    - True Blood: Still as entertaining as ever
    - Breaking Bad: Things are rather slow this season. And Walter White is a fucking moron. Gus and Mike make up for it, though
    - Damages: Pretty cool season so far, though they maybe should have stayed away from the whole CIA conspiracy stuff. Not sure how they’ll manage to conclude the season in credible way.

The best shows I have watched:

BSG - most amazing remake in the history of forever, sadly ruined by a god awful ending.  But I can forgive it since the show made up for it.

Lost - great show, terrible last season, I just can't forgive it.

Sarah connor chronicles - started off pretty rubbish, low budget.  I became hooked and almost cried when it got cancelled lol.

Camelot - I liked it, but then I like everything fantasy.  Gutted it got cancelled.

Spartacus - Umm yeah, a show with men dressed in little leather pants and looking gloriously buff, and women using gladiators as sex toys.  How the fuck could I not like this show?  I loved it from the first eipsode when everyone else was saying it was kinda lame, my loins was saying "you fools".  Grin

Caprica - Loved it, not as good as BSG but it'll do in a pinch.  Not too bad ending either.

Stargates - SG1 = legendary, the rest were fucking terrible.

Game of thrones - season 2 can't come soon enough for me.

Smallville - was a loyal fan right up until the end.

Supernatural - can't wait for the next season, there has to be one.

True Blood - been with it from the start, love it.

Farscape - belongs in the collection of epic.

Vampire Diaries - I love this teenage joke, its just so awesome.

The Walking dead - Enjoyed the first season, hope there are more.

Merlin - I love this show.  It's just so british family entertainment.

    ================

    My secret shameful loves:

Legend of the seeker - LOL it got cancelled, I was gutted.

Blade - same as above Cheesy

I'm sure there are more.  I tend to search for anything sci fi or fantasy related and watch it religiously.

Inhale the good shit, exhale the bullshit.

Community and Better Off Ted are the wittiest contemporary comedies and offer a lot of social criticism.

Jersey Shore - yeah, trash TV but I like it - the first 3 seasons, anyway.

Breaking Bad - one of the best shows out right now. S04 is really slow and I hope it picks up (I've only seen the first 4 episodes)

Boardwalk Empire - halfway through the first season and I want to like but it's done nothing to draw me in.
