Jesse is bound to find out somehow that Walt cause Jane's death. I really really hope that the worst that happens to him is turn informant and get a deal with the DEA. Honestly, he's the only character whose death would really affect me (now that Mike's gone)

Oh yeah, I'm pumped about Homeland. I've been waiting to be with my boyfriend so we can watch it together but we can't do it right away because he wants to finish the 5th season of the Wire first  Roll Eyes

^ Yup. I just watched the first two episodes, and it's okay but nowhere near the brilliance of the BBC version.

As it happens I've started my first Breaking Bad re-watch a few weeks ago. Am halfway through season two. Man, even my memory failed me in how great this stuff actually is.

Also I've been finally catching up on Homeland, season two, and shit is great  dance And moving quite quickly, too!

How many episodes of breaking bad is out now of the latest season? I tend to watch whole seasons rather than episodes every week, I hate that. I think I watched at least 3 episodes from the final season.

Boardwalk Empire is the show on TV right now. The seasons always start off slowly but boy do they know how to finish a season.

I don't watch Broadwalk but I think Stephen Graham is one of the greatest actors of our time, so underrated.

Haha that one scene completely made up for many things I didn't like about this season.

I'm really excited about the finale tonight! Though I'll most likely watch it tomorrow night.

Is anyone into HBO's show Treme? I jumped right into it after finishing The Wire, thinking it was a bit similar seeing as it's the same people who created both shows, and it has the actors who played Bunk Moreland and Lester Mothefucking Freamon. Boy was I wrong; it's completely different.

But it's also fantastic. I never thought I'd be so engrossed by this kind of show. Any fans around here?

Fingers crossed they kill off Margaret for making us go through the hospital arc and Jimmy's mum for being a world class cunt.

I don't mind them killing off Margaret (bleh) but they need to keep Gillian on the show. She's great!

But anyway, no more on the subject until I watch it tonight!

So I watched the finale of Boardwalk Empire's third season.

This show is great even in its predictability. Some things you could see coming from miles away, like the scene between Rosetti and Gillian, and Richard going on a rampage and saving Tommy. Didn't make them any less interesting. Some things surprised me, like the anticlimactic death of Rosetti (not the death itself, the manner of it) and how Nucky went and screwed Rothstein over.

Are we rid of Margaret yet? I mean I didn't mind her story arc this season because I thought it was actually going somewhere, but it wasn't. And now she turned her back on Nucky, so maybe we won't see her again? Wishful thinking, I suppose.

Gillian's last scene with Nucky broke my heart. She's a major fuck-up and was really harming her grand-son, but I can't help but feel sympathy for what she's gone through and always associate her with Aisha (she was 11 when she was forced to have sex with 50-something Commodore). But yeah, her character couldn't go on another season.

Can't wait to see what the next season will be about. Hopefully there will be more Chicago stuff. Also we didn't get any resolution for Van Alden's plot :/

'Homeland' renewed for third season by Showtime, so that out of the way, just finished episode 11 of season 2 and ooola lalla lalla la instead of laa ilaa ha T grin12
Spoiler alert please do not peak if you do not want to know about the show.
So Abu Nazir is dead, I am thinking Brody might actually be head hancho, lets see what the season finale has in store for us next week.  parrot

I'm still a bit behind on Homeland but I'll get back to you as soon as I catch up. I'm surprised they waited so long for renewing it? There are shows (Boardwalk Empire, Game of Thrones, Trueblood) that get renewed as soon as the first episode is aired. I though Homeland was doing pretty well, especially since it won all those Emmys.

Re: Boardwalk Empire's third season, just read this interview with Terrence Winter (DO NOT READ IT IF YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED THE SEASON)
http://insidetv.ew.com/2012/12/02/boardwalk-empire-season-3-finale/ and it said this, regarding Gillian Darmody:
Can you say if Gillian Darmody (Gretchen Mol), whose character was last seen following a heroin overdose, is dead? She’s alive.

Re: Homeland: Bleh.

I don't know, the finale didn't make much sense to me. Or it would have if they had made Brody be an Al Qaida mastermind from the beginning who outplayed the CIA and Carrie. In fact I kept waiting for him to "show his true face" to the last minute. I even thought he'd strangle her right there in the woods. Instead we get "This was true love" bullshit. Oh, and the Estes/Saul conflict, solved just like that, huh? And then Estes died, so no need to deal with anything anymore. They pretty much lost me.

In other, unrelated news, I'm more and more convinced that Saul Goodman (Breaking Bad) might be the best character in television EVER.
