Really? I thought it was incredibly well written for that genre.

`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad.  You're mad.'
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'

is Sons of Anarchy worth watching?

It's garbage. Don't waste your time. We kinda challenged one another at home to watch it and we're stuck at the start of season 3, unable to go on, because it's pure shyte.

Atrocious characters that you just can't about, stupid story lines and lots of macho posturing with cool bike. That's all there is to it.

    Breaking Bad spoilers

And I want to know, is Jessie going to discover Walter let his girlfriend die at some point?

I really hope not. There's no witness and no reason for Walt to confess. If it happens it would be a stupid plot point. I think they're better than that. It would be a little more likely that Jesse figures out how Brock was poisoned, though.

The first season of Hannibal was absolutely brilliant. Mads Mikkelsen is superb in the title role, he deserves an emmy for his performance but won't due to both John Hamm and Bryan Cranston being amazing this year as well.

I watched the Shield when it first came on TV, only one and a half seasons then I tuned out

Season 5 of The Shield (the one with Forrest Whittaker) is one of the best seasons of TV you'll ever see. It also has the best ending out of ANY TV show I've seen.

Another cracking show. Awesome cinematography or whatever it is called. They should have had a disclaimer at the end - no actual toddlers were hurt in the making of this episode. That toddler - great acting.

I am my own worst enemy and best friend, itsa bit of a squeeze in a three-quarter bed, tho. Unhinged!? If I was a dog I would be having kittens, that is unhinged. Footloose n fancy free, forced to fit, fated to fly. One or 2 words, 3 and 3/thirds, looking comely but lonely, till I made them homely.D

I just realised most of my favourite TV shows are detective shows. Columbo, Twin Peaks, The Wire, Hannibal, Cracker,  X Files, Sherlock, Luther, The Killing, The Fall, The Bridge, Veronica Mars.

Homeland, Dexter, House, 24, kinda count too.

Too fucking busy, and vice versa.

How stupid was that finale, though?

Then again the whole season was pretty stupid.

I never noticed Eric's peen, though. Will have to re-watch.

Just wait until he starts burning and gets out the chair. They have said they want to go back to how thing used to be, simplify things and make them more character focused. Overall it wasn't bad in the sense it wasn't well written or well acted. I've been trying to decide if series 6 is bad or just different from series 1-3.

So... going back to how things were means turning the show into The Walking Dead?

This season is a logical continuation of the previous ones. The show has been going downhill since season 3 and up til now it was easy to just turn one's brain off and enjoy the ride, but then it got stale or something.

You equate series 1-3 with the Walking Dead? I see the next series focusing more on the relationships of the characters, getting to know new characters, etc. I'm sure we'll still have a good helping of sex and violence  Smiley

Didn't look like zombies to me, just vampires with a disregard of human life in general, like every vamire on the show except for Bill. I was actually reminded of the nest in series 1.

    Two episodes to comment

5b3 - first ten minutes thought this was the boring episode, the filler to make ends meet, until suddenly it was the episode that reached down itself and pulled up from the scruff of the neck the entire back catalogue in clinical style. This helped to overcome the contrived reach down for the cliffhanger.

5b4 - this was the filler to make ends meet. One thing of note -  Hank driving away from Walt's   - having to buckle the seatbelt of his passenger before going home.

How do you write with spoiler boxes? Don't read down if your definition of a spoiler is knowing that there was an episode of Breaking Bad, three from the end and that it was good/bad and only telling if it was good/bad.

I mean you can't even say how exciting it was? I mean come on it is breaking bad episode three form the end and it is obvious that it will have plenty of whhhhhaaat moments?

    Naerys please amend.
