Well that was fun!

The weather (god) was on side throughout for a suntastic march through London to Downing Street, calling for a secular Europe and, hell, a secular world! What a wonderful show of support from secularists from across Europe who came from across the continent to get their message heard. Later, during an orangemen marched, it pissed it down

. Lots of chanting (and a little bit of post rally drinking) has wrecked my throat for the foreseeable future, but it was most definitely worth it.
It was great to see CEMBers there: Fariborz Pooya, Maryam Namazie, Loki, Chinadoll, Pariah and others whose usernames I'm not sure of. For anyone else who could have made it but didn't: if you folks want the issues of ex-Muslims to be pushed up the secularist and humanist agenda, never mind those of wider society, these are the sort of events you need to make your presence known and felt at. The world is not going to come to this forum, so try harder next time!! Thanks to everyone who came...see you all at the next one
