Oh, it's a NWO conspiracy thing. Lolz, no thanks.

I know people are using global warming as a selling point, that's a no brainer, but that's capitalism, not any sort of conspiracy.

Sorry if I seem close-minded, I've seen enough NWO/Illuminati stuff to last me a lifetime.

If the illuminati are powerful enough to get 99% of the world's scientists to lie about reality, then they are powerful enough not to need to have reality lied about.

I don't come here any more due to unfair moderation.

Jesse Ventura will be better off in wrestling   movies   instead of talking about Global warming and WTC conspiracy theories. These high school drop outs should only be allowed to act in movies or in comic wrestling.

I'm surprised that people think it's so far out that a group of elitist aristocrats would seek to empower themselves by influencing government, the world economy, and so forth. This is interesting:

The idea that powerful people will conspire to keep their power, or influence things within their power isn't far fetched and has been proven (iran-contra, operation northwoods etc).

The problems is when people begin to invent insane theories with little evidence ie. Monarch programming, reptilian shape shifters rule the world, global conspiracy to spread atheism, etc). It's like the God of the gaps argument religious folks use - making things up and passing them on as facts to fill in the gaps of evidence isn't justifiable.

Here Darkmatter2525 does a side-splitting parody of the ideas put forth by religious conspiracy theorists...

Of course there are people behind the governments, etc. seeking to control them for their own benefits, but it's not a conspiracy, and they're not a secret society.

We as humans seem to have a natural tendency to explain things through agency, this is just another example.

So, if private individual collude with government officials secretly in order to affect policy and to influence government generally in their favour, then what would you call it if not a conspiracy? That is, to conspire together towards a shared goal? And the Bilderberg group is not a masonic-style secret society like Skull and Bones, but it is nevertheless a simultaneously clandestine and under-reported gathering as well as one that involves some of the world's most influential people. And of course, some attendees do belong to secret societies. Kissinger and, I believe, David Rockefeller are also members of the so-called Bohemian Club.

Well, that's a genetic fallacy for a start. And the fact is that these people are agents who are consciously working towards the establishment of, in their own words, a 'new world order,' whatever that entails. This is not a case of the mere illusion of agency, it's quite clearly an example of it; it's something these people are actually doing.

if you can liken God to Santa Claus for adults, then I liken 'politics' to WWE for adults.

    Explanation -

When watching WWE with my young nephew and nieces, I tell them it's all fixed, they say no it isn't, I say yes it is. They say well look they get hurt, I say yes, but not as much as you think, they practise to get hurt to put on a show, they know which one will win in the end because it is fixed.

They say, why would one want to lose, why would he want to get a chair smacked across the back - I say because they are paid to do that - it's all a show for the watching crowd (like adults and the news)one is a bad guy, the other good until he isn't, then it's a different bad guy etc

Then the youngters say nahhh - look, he has blood coming out of him - I say well it is self-inflicted, he will have a hidden blade and cut himself - this is when the youngsters seriously think I am a conspiracy theorist.

Sometimes I think - like you know how an aircraft emits 'stuff' so that heat-seeking missiles go after the stuff rather than the actual plane lol i think 'whoever' is in charge does the same with conspiracy theorist - let them go up blind alleys, chase unimportant or useless material, whereas the real thing zooms on by.

If I haven't lost any of you by now- I will now - whoever it is - there is an over-representation of jews(secular/cultural/progressive types) why - because they are over represented in every good or bad thing in this world.

Okay, sure, but these people don't control the world. They don't control all the financial and political institutes like NWO conspiracy theorists like to blabber on about. That's what I mean by "agency": that the entire system is controlled by a few individuals. It's not. The problem is not any one individual or organization, it's the system as a whole. The system is shaped in such a way that it makes people become selfish and act out of self-interest.

Conspiracy theorists take things and blow them out of proportion. Secret societies and fraternities become world-dominating organizations. It's just bullshit. And I really have no interest in reading or watching anything about it, nor do I have any desire in discussing it. I have spent enough time on such crap that it's just a waste of time now. I've read, seen and argued about all the evidence and nothing has convinced me.

It's like coming here and telling me Islam is the true religion. All the arguments are so stale that I get no intellectual stimulation out of them. I'd rather spend my time jerking off.

Even though I may come across as a conspiracist nut, I do echo your sentiments, that it is just the way it is. For instance in my jewish Supremacy thread I outline that it is not a conspiracy theory but just the way it is.

But who shapes the system? (I dont go for that illuminati/freemason stuff either).

Though if we go back say 150 years or whenever the British Empire ruled over the most meaningful parts of the world, you could probably point to a few people and say yes - they rule the world, or at least their financiers. At that time Britain was the world's biggest investment bank.

Now it just a bit more complicated, but follow the money.

No one "shaped the system". Capitalism emerged as a consequence of the collapse of feudalism and the growth and emergence of the bourgeoisie.

Not even the British Empire shaped the system. The rules of the game that allowed for imperialism were set before the British Empire and have lasted after its collapse, with slight changes. The rules need to be radically altered for there to be no more empires.

    A non-Jew.

You should consider getting your information from actual scholarly sources, instead of wikipedia and sundry racially biased conspiracy theorists.

Yeah well when you work from an assumption (e.g. that jews are this or that and are all homogeneous), all your conclusions will carry some confirmation bias. Re-evaluate your assumptions.
