    Satan's holiday Grin

So naturally one of my favorites.

This is it. I want to really get into it this year because I never really do.... I attempt to.... whether a small party or a haunted house or whatever... or an attempt at a costume... or trick or treating.. But I really haven't dressed up in a long time. Last time was maybe in my teens.

So I'm trying to make 2011 to be the year.  dance

The problem in the past is I try too hard to think of a really creative costume, that I'm never satisfied with any of my mediocre ideas.  Cheesy

And even if I did have a great idea, I doubt I can execute it very well.... I'm not a very crafty person. I'm not even particularly good at make up  Cheesy but I think I can try.

So what are your plans for Halloween? Do you even care?

I'm not dressing up or anything (this year I have no reason to), but I do plan on maybe making a jack o' lantern for the very first time Smiley

My Halloween last year was the best. I went to a dubstep/drum n bass rave and it was my first mdma experience. Some people's costumes freaked me out, but others had the funniest and most meaningless shit. And the atmosphere and venue were just perfect.

This year I'm going to a trance show on Halloween weekend, but I dunno if it's gonna be a costume party or not.

    That's cool guys.

Aurora - why would you have no reason to dress up? You mean no place or party to go?

That's actually another reason why I never made it happen... Because even though I have a few friends,  Cheesy none of them necessarily threw a party or did anything specific for Halloween. Or they all did random things like go to different little events but nothing I could dress up for. But this year I found some people who are... and I think we're going to the city to join the big party..  dance

A funny story - when I was 13 I think, I started getting really into Halloween and enjoying all the decorations I'd see. I wanted for us to have our house decorated too - even if it was simple. So I got a few cardboard cut out designs and I guess my mom thought I would keep them inside - hang them up in my room or something - but I wanted to put them on the window next to our door. Because I wanted to get into the spirit of things, and also so that trick or treaters would know they're welcome.  Smiley

My parents said no.  Cry Halloween is evil and that's that, and we're not going to do like these other kaffirs. Grin
    Bummer.

I had to hang them up from my ceiling in my room and I got over it.  Tongue

I'll probably watch the Rocky Horror Picture Show with some friends.

I really wish we lived near each other PT.  I'd help you party in style, and provide the M-dizzy Grin

I have always loved halloween, probably because it seemed so unislamic, and now more because I get to dressed up in a costume and go be stupid with booze in my system.

This year I am trying to convince my friends to come to the torture garden fetish night for halloween.  If that fails then meh, I don't need the night for dressing up since its my birthday in October too, and I'm alrready going out for the themed dress up night then.  We are doing "commie sluts", so if no one is up for the fetish ball, its taking the kids trick or treating, and staying home.

Curious as to the commie sluts outfits. I have a KGB costume (big furry black ushanka with red star, black suit with red tie and USSR flag lapel pin, replica KGB ID, black skin-tight leather gloves, black trenchcoat, and handcuffs)-- I interrogate attractive suspected counterrevolutionaries. Smiley

     Reply #7 - September 27, 2011, 07:05 AM

We have to put together our own commie slut outfits.  I found a skirt in the right colour with the red star, and red fishnets but the skirts a bit too long for me Grin  so I'm looking around for some shorts I can sew the star onto, or a short all in one to do the same thing to.

Blazers must be to match, and I'm trying to find a hat.

So basically right now its a mish mash idea that I need to find the right clothes to.   dance

My KGB outfit actually consists of shit I have in my wardrobe anyways.  Cheesy The replica KGB ID was the only thing I had to get special for it.

Halloween is definitely the devil's party for JWs ... and I haven't had a chance to really celebrate or indulge in it since I apostasized... but this year I am going to a party and I am going to get all dressed up! I can't wait  dance
I need to try on my pointy had and get the black nail polish and eye liner on lol

That's generally it, I never did anything past middle school when we used to have competitions on costumes (I won once grin12) and games. And one year in high school at my friend's party. Now I moved away so no parties, and the school doesn't do anything fun

This year my boyfriend and I are really excited to be attending a live symphony orchestra performance called "Halloween with Harry" featuring music from the Harry Potter films. There will be a "Diagon Alley" fair beforehand, and it's a costume event although we have not yet decided if or how we will dress up.

On Halloween night, we will probably hang out at home handing out candy to the kiddies and watching scary movies.

Oh shit, just noticed Halloween is on a Monday this year. Which means the fun will be cut short, as we'll have to work the next day. Ah well.

I'd really like to go trick-or-treating this year just to have the experience. I can't think of any costume ideas since I really wanna be a superhero but...there are no black superheroes. None with costumes that are easy to duplicate, anyway.
