     Giordano Bruno ??

     Reply #299 - October 07, 2011, 09:17 PM

You are technically out of this round!!!

    But yes. That is it.

I am Giordano Bruno. I was a Catholic priest, astronomer, philosopher, who actually was the first to come up with the notion that not only was the geocentric model of the universe incorrect, even the heliocentric was inaccurate. I was the first to postulate that the universe did not revolve around the sun, but that the sun was one of many stars.

I was deemed a heretic by the Catholic Church for my outspoken views. My tongue was cut out and then I was burned at the stake by the Church.

    It's your turn now, Zaiba.
