There are thousands of medical students, scientists and people who are interested in this topic, therefore we want them to have the opportunity to approach the Qur'an - and we believe this is a great way in achieving that.[/b] What better way to give the message of Islam to a much neglected group of people? The scientific community is an influential community, and to make an impact with them would surely help the cause of Islam.

Does this twat actually think the scientific community will give two shits about his chicken scratch research? It's the equivalent of me building a shitty little box-car and presenting it to Toyota or Ford as a worthy new automobile for them to consider for mass production. Is this guy seriously this retarded?

Yes, he believes his message can bring scientists to their knees.

He also wants to be able to show the audiences at his congregations that he is getting in the faces of those who deny the recitation.

Its all about the show - thats the point.

They will look at it, laugh, then throw it into the bin.  The only purpose this serves is to convince Muslims it is worth sending in money for.

I guess you can only expect such idiocy from a greek that converted to Islam. Maybe he should stick to his shitty little Dawah boxes or whatever. He'd have better luck selling snake oil to the 'scientific community' than his joke research papers.

There is that - my last post is me giving him the benefit of the doubt and being generous about his delusional sincerity  Wink

I can't help it.  The obvious fact is that iERA need to impress the people sending in the money rather than actually succeed in convincing people their invisible dictator exists.

What they need is lots of people saying "Alhamdulillah, you are doing a wonderful job!" which is probably why this "research" has been announced multiple times over the past few months.

it will be a good test of the claim that scientists convert to islam after seeing the 'science' in the quran.

Perhaps he could keep a running total of all the scientists that have converted after seeing this nonsense.

Inshallah there will be 15000 scientist shahadas. Alternatively, there will be 0, inshallah of course.

i really do not believe that he thinks he can peruade real scientists with this. He surely cannot be that ignorant.
If he felt that his case was strong, then he wouldn't be taking the Adnan Oktar approach to publishing 'research'.
He may catch a few naive young science students, but nothing more. It's just a big publicity stunt.

Is there a single real scientist in the world that was impressed by Adnan Oktar's 'Atlas of Creation'?  I very much doubt it, and yet the whole thing is still considered some kind of victory by him and his ilk.

Kids will decide based on factors such as

1: Which argument was the easiest to understand?
2: Which arguer spoke to me the nicest.
3: Which arguer treated me like a grown up.

Reality should be modelled on objective facts. It should not be modelled on our intuition, and it should certainly not be modelled on the intuition of our children.

It seems as obvious as saying "Don't stick red hot nails into your eyeballs."

lol cos elite scientists don't ask for experimentation and evidence but are instead persuaded by chest thumping rhetoric from pseudo scientific demagogues?

sorry hamza, you might get praise from al-azhar university, but not in credible & renowned scientific institutions.

If I had hair I'd pull it out - instead of giving money to the thousands of people afflicted by natural disasters this year some muslims will inevitably fund IERA's bullshit.   finmad

I can't stand Hamza anymore, this shit has pushed me over the edge.

    I posted this comment:
I think you are wasting your time. Scientists tend to be persuaded by papers in peer reviewed journals backed up with scientific evidence and persuasive data, not glossy leaflets consisting of arguments from ignorance.

I sometimes wish I was a Muslim, and had the opportunity to work somewhere like IERA. It looks like such a nice job.
It's an extremely easy job, just making up bullshit. I actually know a  thing or two about science, and I could certainly make up more convincing bullshit than Hamza.  You get to travel around a lot, and you are adored whever you go. You can do no wrong. It literally does not matter what bullshit you come up with.
