    Qurqan is a special name given to the Holy revelations of Sayyiduna Mahmoud. No-one quite knows what it means. Some say it is  a fusion of the word Qur'an with the word Furqan. Others that it is a word from the highest heaven that means "Crown" as it is the "Crown of books". Still others say it is from an ancient elvish language that means: "The One Book to rule them all".

    Istislam is a very tolerant religion. Mahmoud said he was not the last prophet. In a Hadith narrated by mughaffal ibn ablah: "I have been sent to open the door for many."

    I may be paying to much attention to what the one sura of your very tolerant religion says. Hanging, choking and burning all in the first sura. Perhaps the next sura will reveal that symbolic language was used in the first sura.

    Abdul Fasiq was a bit upset he made a small mistake in pronounciation in one part - and he is such a perfectionist, he asked me if he could re-record it so I could re-upload it for him.

    I heard the words of the Qurqan was given by Allah to the Profit Mahmoud in a cave just right next to the one Muhammad was in.

    So don't you think there could be a possibility Jibrael must have been confused and switched revelations between the two?  Huh?

    Some say it was a confusion, some say it was intentional. Allah knows best.

    I see Allah mentions in the Qurqan the punishments of hanging, choking and burning. Are these punishments reserved for Him alone? Does He warn of any other types of punishments, such as freezing or drowning?

    Yes, of course. It has been confirmed that both readings are contained within the "6 Readings" - and so both Qira'aat are still available on the Holy Qurqan Channel.  Afro

    I would appreciate and comments on this latest revelation before I ask Abdul Fasiq to recite it for me.

    قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِعَقْلِ النَّاسِ

    Mashallah, what a beautiful recitation!

    "وِسْوَاسُ الدِّينِ خَارِبُ عُقُولِ النَّاسِ" -- Allah made this a standalone jumla ismiyya, but this humble servant cannot help thinking that making it a continuation of the earlier verse, and nasbing everything in it, would sound really good.

    Also, might Allah consider tipping his hat off to the loyal, juice-hating, glorious nation of Kazakhstan instead of the decidedly less pious Japanese?

    Profit Borat would be very happy.

    Unfortunately, the site I use that hosts Al Mu3jam al Wasee6 is down right now, so I'm not sure about the tashkeel on Kazakhstan.

    Other than that, Kazakhstan is mamnoo3a min as-sarf because it is an ism 3alam a3jami, so it should be jarred with a fat7a, I believe. The same doesn't apply to Fez because according to this, when it's just three letters and the middle one is saakin, you sarf it, so you tanween kasr it.

    Why did Allah use a kasra instead of tanween here? Does he intend for Abdul Fasiq to pronounce it, instead of using pausa?

    I don't think you can have tanween on a proper noun like Fez.
