  • Ex muslim blog network?
     OP - October 24, 2011, 10:47 PM

What Hassan said in the Jinn and Tonic show has been percolating in my brain. I have felt like it's a duty of mine to be out as an ex-muslim, which I plan to do when I get my personal situation in order. It's also why I started a blog, but I started to wonder today while at work whether it would be useful to start a blog network. Something like freethought blogs, but specifically for ex-muslims who are willing to blog under their real names.

I don't know how easy it would be to find writers, especially ones who would write in Arabic, but I'm strongly considering trying to set something up. Is there any good reason why I shouldn't? Thoughts?

    Good idea. Afro

Just one caveat: I suspect most ex-Muslims would rather blog under pseudonyms, not their real names.  It's less stressful that way.
I know blogging under your real name adds credibility, but I think there are too many problems with it.
