this will be a band to look out for in the future, at the moment its just one member he writes and produces his own material, he currently has an album under production by a proper producer.

    Hi Buster

I love Paul Potts. Did you see his audition for Britain's Got Talent? I was moved to tears. He just has the saddest face I had ever seen, like he had been bullied at school and disappointed all his life, when he said he was going to sing opera I was so afraid the judges would rip him to shreds, and one more disappointment and humiliation would be the straw that broke the camel's back. Then when he opened his mouth and started to sing, it was incredible. As you said, heartwarming.

    Hi Iris,

yes I did see his audition on youtube. I already knew the outcome when I watched the video, but I can just imagine people's feelings before he ever opened his mouth to sing. He's so shy and lacking confidence and then he opens his mouth to sing and -BAM! He just nails it. And to think he used to sing in the closet  Huh?

Did you see the women in the audience wiping tears from their eyes? That's how I feel watching it.

I like to see people like him succeed. And from all that I've seen, success has not changed him and his attitude about life.

Yes he seems like a genuinely nice man. I hope he does well.

Life is a sexually transmitted disease which is invariably fatal.

    Edwin Starr- WAR

    War, huh, yeah
    What is it good for
    Absolutely nothing
    Uh-huh
    War, huh, yeah
    What is it good for
    Absolutely nothing
    Say it again, y'all

    War, huh, good God
    What is it good for
    Absolutely nothing
    Listen to me

    Ohhh, war, I despise
    Because it means destruction
    Of innocent lives

    War means tears
    To thousands of mothers eyes
When their sons go to fight
    And lose their lives

    I said, war, huh
    Good God, y'all
    What is it good for
    Absolutely nothing
    Say it again

    War, whoa, Lord
    What is it good for
    Absolutely nothing
    Listen to me

    War, it ain't nothing
    But a heartbreaker
War, friend only to the undertaker
    Ooooh, war
It's an enemy to all mankind
The point of war blows my mind
    War has caused unrest
    Within the younger generation
    Induction then destruction
    Who wants to die
    Aaaaah, war-huh
    Good God y'all
    What is it good for
    Absolutely nothing
Say it, say it, say it
    War, huh
    What is it good for
    Absolutely nothing
    Listen to me

    War, huh, yeah
    What is it good for
    Absolutely nothing
    Uh-huh
    War, huh, yeah
    What is it good for
    Absolutely nothing
    Say it again y'all
    War, huh, good God
    What is it good for
    Absolutely nothing
    Listen to me

War, it ain't nothing but a heartbreaker
    War, it's got one friend
    That's the undertaker
    Ooooh, war, has shattered
    Many a young mans dreams
Made him disabled, bitter and mean
Life is much to short and precious
To spend fighting wars these days
    War can't give life
It can only take it away

    Ooooh, war, huh
    Good God y'all
    What is it good for
    Absolutely nothing
    Say it again

    War, whoa, Lord
    What is it good for
    Absolutely nothing
    Listen to me

War, it ain't nothing but a heartbreaker
War, friend only to the undertaker
    Peace, love and understanding
Tell me, is there no place for them today
They say we must fight to keep our freedom
But Lord knows there's got to be a better way

    Ooooooh, war, huh
    Good God y'all
    What is it good for
    You tell me
Say it, say it, say it, say it

    War, huh
    Good God y'all
    What is it good for
    Stand up and shout it
    Nothing

    Loreena McKennit

When in the springtime of the year
When the trees are crowned with leaves
When the ash and oak, and the birch and yew
    Are dressed in ribbons fair

When owls call the breathless moon
In the blue veil of the night
The shadows of the trees appear
    Amidst the lantern light

We've been rambling all the night
And some time of this day
    Now returning back again
    we bring a garland gay

Who will go down to those shady groves
    And summon the shadows there
And tie a ribbon on those sheltering arms
In the springtime of the year

The songs of birds seem to fill the wood
    That when the fiddler plays
All their voices can be heard
    Long past their woodland days

And so they linked their hands and danced
Round in circles and in rows
And so the journey of the night descends
When all the shades are gone

"A garland gay we bring you here
And at your door we stand
It is a sprout well budded out
The work of Our Lord's hand"

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rIqDe1ZbmV4

    I find this one relaxing.
    Hope you enjoy.

being less violent hardly makes you a pervert, sweety! So far, you´ve given me no reason to assume anything pervert about you... except your weird refusal to even consider falling in love at some time in the future, when that would be appropriate (but I put that down to your age and inexperience...you ARE a VERY normal 16 year old, with VERY normal desires and fantasies, deny all you want...  Grin )

you remind me of another Singh I know. And love. Don´t worry - it was a compliment. Smiley

She has got such a maaaad voice. Its really calming. Could do with some more slower kirtan.

There are some Sufi Muslims that do Kirtan as well, they're really really good, ill try and track it down for you.

    Names:
Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Chand Afzaal Qawaal.

    They're Qawaali singers.
