    Oh sure, but that wasn't what I was getting at. I was referring to the refusal to consider evidence outside of your own head.

    ETA: Incidentally, and somewhat tangentially, in certain circumstances logic can be cross checked by reference to other things. An example would be something that is logically consistent but morally repugnant.
