My name and proseletyzation

Yellow Sky is an allusion to the Daoist eschatology of the Yellow Turban Sect, who rose up in revolt 184 C.E. with the slogan "The blue sky wanes! The Yellow Sky waxes!"

By giving myself this name, I remind myself that all eschatalogical traditions are dangerous, even if they are associated with peaceful faiths (this includes Buddhism - A Korean claimant to the position of Future Buddha could have given Muhammad a run for evilness, what with is claim that all who killed ten of his enemies would become enlightened!). Daoism is a very dangerous set of teachings, which I rejected after much thought.

In contrast, yellow snow has no such significance.

If others have the right to insult buddhism on this forum, which I do not begrudge them, why should I not have the right to praise Buddhism on this forum without being begrudged?

Ah, if that is so, please accept my apologies. I am not good at dealing with humour.

I suppose that it is one of those things that I do not quite understand, alongside romantic love, music, and worshipping gods.

With the exception of romantic love, all would be restricted as illogical in my ideal world.

Indeed it is good to criticize religions! I myself criticize Buddhism's bad aspects in many ways.

I shall join this litany, abood and Jesus Christ, so that we may all have fun.

Muslims are deluded! Christians are deluded! Jews are deluded! Zoroastrians are the most deluded of all! Gnostics are deluded! Glyconites are deluded!

Hindus are misguided! Tengriists are misguided! Bahai are misguided! Chrislims are misguided!

Tibetan Buddhists are misguided! Nichiren Buddhists are deluded! Pureland Buddhists are deluded! Orthodox Theravada Buddhists are misguided!

Worse than anything else would be my spreading strife on this forum. That way lies ruin!

Well, there are many sects of Buddhism, some of which are better than others, just like Boko Haram is radically different from and worse than Whoman's qu'ran-onlyist Islam.

ok but you didn't differentiate between different sects of islam, etc., just buddhism.

plus, you're missing my point. i don't care about your religion, what i care about is preaching. i don't care how true or good your beliefs are, i don't go around unprovoked telling people to check out atheism or pantheism. that's just annoying.
