Bowser, have youu gone through the bios and blogs here?

There are TONS of them.  And yeah, it may take a while
to get through some of them, but they are well worth the
read, and I think you will gain alot of support and encouragement
    from reading them.

I blame my father for me leaving Islam (when you usually blame someone its bad but this time it's good). He loved reading and was a strong socialist, when I was about 13 or 14 I started reading his Karl Marx books. Not knowing Karl Marx hated the fact that people believed in god and religion. After reading his books for a while I became more and more of a Marxist, but I realised I couldn't be a real Marxist while I was still opressed by this fake creator. After days of thinking about it and looking into atheism more I left Islam. So it's my fathers, who introduced me to Karl Marx and the truth.

The internets, and my mom always telling me to pray. I was always rebellious as a child (I still kind of am). Anyways, once I got a hold of using the computer, I started researching more on Islam. Obviously, I found pro and con arguments. The con arguments struck me more. I was also a skeptic as a child. I'd question my mother on how God came to being - I think around the age of 8 or 9.

Here I am, a skeptic today. So be afraid, be very afraid.

I died and was born again. Follow me, and I will lead you to eternal paradise.

A number of reasons really, but the strongest one is probably that disgusting human being Muhammed. His actions, which are only justified by ignorant people that have fear clouding their judgement, and the fact that he thought the earth was flat.

soooo many reasons... but I WAS NEVER comfortable with
the Battle of Khaybar.  Shit, it wasnt a victorious battle,
it was a slaughter with much rape, torturing, murder, and pillaging.
It gnawed at me for quite a long time.

`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad.  You're mad.'
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'

no particular reason, just wanted to try something new, didnt want to limit myself to one way a thinking, it was a good friend of mine, non muslim who gently directed me away from Islam, he kept telling me that i would learn more about Islam by being outside of it looking in than i would living it and preached to me daily that "change" is a great teacher.. Sooo true

Never believed in it from the get go, converted for maritial reasons. However gave the prayers a try one evening shortly after, for personal gain (pathetic, I know) fortunately my prayers turned out to be unanswered. Who knows a couple of seemingly answered salats (worked for a convert friend) and I might now be posting on the 'British Council of Muslims' instead but hopefully I wouldn't have been that gullible?

Immoral and scientifically/factually inaccurate verses in the Quran did it for me, though that wasn't the only reason.

For me it was just thinking all the time. Rather than leading me to Islam it led me away. FAR FAR away...

For me it was the Islamic notion of a God.

My mind runs, I can never catch it even if I get a head start.
