There is that argument floating around that Islam is not what one Billion muslims are doing...Islam is tolerant, peaceful, co-existant, and I really beg to differ here. I live in Egypt and we just voted 65% Islamists ( 45% Muslim brotherhood and 20% SALAFI'S ) and I can tell you it I do not see 65% of the country applying any of the nice Islam thingies... I saw those people with propaganda asking folks to vote for Islam and not programs, and that those who had a (god forbid) secular background are the pawns of the church ( Egypt has 10 million christians ) and the enemies of God, there were many instances where monaqabat women ( totally covered in black women ) where arrested for using the id cards of other women and committing voting fraud..Those are the people who want the truth to rule, resorting to all means necessary to get elected. Where secular parties had more respect to the process than they..The thinking of the Islamists is that Islam supercedes any man made process, and anything man made is fair game as long as it allows them to win and prevail. That may shed light why Muslims are not advancing as socieities, are disorganized, lack the proper rule of law.
Which comes to a point, if 90% of Muslims are not able to apply Islam correctly, and 80% of humanity is not muslim. So the true real understanding followers of Islam, would be a mere 1-2% of Homo Sapiens. For a merciful, God, that does not work. Islam has verses about no compulsion in religion, and verses about killing non believers and ahl el kitab, there are verses about looking after women, and verse that allow men to rape newly captured prisoners of war. There is everything and its opposite. One may argue that you need to understand why the verses where revealed and how to have context. Which is equal to saying we need the words of men to understand the eternal words of God...It is like saying we need to look through broken dirty stained glass,as a telescope lens, to get a good view of a galaxy in space...One can argue that a very clear message is difficult, since a book for all ages needs to be written in that oh so special manner, and hence, you get that paradox of that an unlimited God who had the chance to send that message for ALL time, for ALL people to view as a miracle, but was constrained by time and language...Here goes the omnipotent bit too...
Doesn't anyone think that spending time in NY city with 1 billion USD in a bank account, is more fun than a Garden, with silk clothes, wearing jewelry, drinking from silverware, and having orgies with beautiful women... Actually in NY you can have all that and even morrreeee
Imagine if we brought AbuBakr or Abohoraira to life now, took him to the red light district in Amsterdam and told him this is heaven....I wanna bet you it will work like a charm...Now, give him a credit card and set him loose on the town, he will commit every act of debauchery possible...Al Jannah is no different...Is this is the ideal that all Muslims strive for ?
There is gals, food, Armani, DeBeers, Omega, and even the hash, weed and drinks, heck there is even men, the Jannah has little boys too...Great ideal
The Janah is here mate, it is now, go out and enjoy it and be amazed by it...The mystery as far greater, and breathtaking than the pornographic, pimped out, materialistic, silliness called religion, especially Islam.
Real spirituality knowing that we are nothing in something so amazing and hard to comprehend, and just the fact that we aware of that, if the most amazing single, truth. Lets just look it, as it is. What it really is.
