    More messing about in PS, using some old snapshots taken in Christchurch back in December 2010. The tower in the last pic is long gone, as are - I suspect - some of the buildings in the first one.

    Expired film is fun. A little sepia toning and white vignetting added in post, so I can pretend these photos were taken in 1927, rather than last month.

    The sun lighting up the glass of Fair Isle lighthouse. Fair Isle is 59°32′N, which makes it nearly as far north as Oslo. This picture taken at 22:30 on 19th June 2012. As you can see the sun is still pretty high. No photo-editing used.

    I feel like I can finally contribute something without feeling too ashamed when compared with everyone else Grin

    here are the best pics I took on holiday with my new camera, I do have a lot of flower shots, but I especially like the snakes and lizards.

    It's an Ornate Uromastyx, they are from the middle east regions like Egypt.  Way cool.  We went to a reptile rescue centre in Crete which is where this little fella was after being tossed out as somebody's pet.  :(  My son wants one but they are pretty expensive over here.
