    I have never heard of someone hating Christmas, lol how does that manifest itself?

    Hmm, i see where the muslim pov of hating christmas emanates from lol but played out in real life, this would mean there would be muslims whose whole demeanour of life changes on Christmas Day. walking around in a dark mood all day long. what next - burning of christmas trees in the town centre.

    I asked my mom whether it was okay for me to get a tiny Christmas tree and presents for them with my own pocket money for Christmas. She gave me a death glare Smiley

    Also, apparently my mom told my siblings not to accept gifts from workers at the mall at Christmas because "they're not Muslim".

    As a kid, I used to be such an asshole. Someone said Merry Christmas to me once, and I frowned in his face and said "I am not a Christian." That made me feel so guilty over the next couple of years...

    Anyway, fuck yes I'm celebrating Christmas when I'm independent. I'll celebrate the fuck out of it.

    on a more positive note, i'm spending xmas at my muslim in-laws. we're having turkey, presents etc. etc.
    we usually do xmas at my parents with my openly murtad sister leading the way but she can't make it this year. it's usually great. although everyone in my family have more or less figured out i'm no longer muslim as well, so maybe the onus is on me this year  Smiley
