    Was that "What?" to all 3 points?

    1- How long has it been since any one actually had a conversation here about the culture based ideas  that seperate men and women?
    I don't know for sure because I didn't look back bit it's a long time. Becaise I don't think there has been any on here for a long time that really cares. Just trolls.

    2- You must of realized gour reply to Tut was hilarious. Like he asks if he can be your friend and you reply "not if you keep posting  here."  So what you'll be his friend if he goes a way? Nice idea. Sorry about my sarcasim but your reply was so calm and cool just like it made perfect sence
    . I almost died laughing.

    3- I've been sick in bed so I've been off work and have time to hang out on the internet. So I stopped by for a visit.

    Men and women can't be friends?

    That's news to me. My friend Rina is a girl and we're both cool with that. We talk and play games (alone and with her boyfriend) and it never occurs to either of us that anything is wrong.

    I can't speak for sethyboy, but I would assume the reason he didn't think to do anything wrong is because he doesn't sexualize his friend, and instead respects her as a human being with rights, same as everyone else.

    If there's some research that could undermine such a basic understanding, I'm not sure I'd want to read it.

    I'd like to know why sex means "we aren't friends," if you're someone's friend something about them is attractive to you. Not necessarily physical, maybe their personality, maybe their intelligence, etc. But when you're close to someone those feelings can move around sometimes. I think this big deal about sex needs to stop. Finding someone sexually desirable doesn't mean that you want anything more than that and it doesn't mean you don't care about them either. Caring about someone to me is the true measure of a friend. This society is way hung up on sex and this man/woman friend thing is one of the shining examples

    If your single perhaps but would their partners/wives/husbands also see it this way?
    I am my own worst enemy and best friend, itsa bit of a squeeze in a three-quarter bed, tho. Unhinged!? If I was a dog I would be having kittens, that is unhinged. Footloose n fancy free, forced to fit, fated to fly. One or 2 words, 3 and 3/thirds, looking comely but lonely, till I made them homely.D

    I just thought it was an interesting comment from Berbs. It jumped out at me because it got me thinking, and as someone who was never actually a muslim I was really curious about what people's take would be, see the responses as I didn't really see that many addressing it, though to be honest I only read the comments on the first page.

    And yes, partners/wives/husbands are fine with it. I've actually only had one person jealous I was friends with his wife but he was always accusing her of cheating on him and we've been friends since before they met. Fucking paranoid, we ended up losing contact because of it. If you don't trust your partner to be loyal to you, why are you with them?
