Oooo, I'll take pics of my books and record collection to show it off when I go back home.  ^.^

I also want to start collecting matchbooks because I saw an organist use one to hold a high note on his keyboard (by sticking it in between the keys) while he did his magic on the lower end.

I've got one already that I found in a Sunday market and is now coming in handy:

No, it's a promotional matchbook for an old club here in London.  Thought it looked cool:

Searching eBay and the prices are ridiculously expensive for some nasty-ass old matchbooks!

This is not worth 40 quid.

    My beloved record collection.  dance
I miss my turntable, now I can't listen to any of these. I'll be getting another one soon, hopefully.

    1.) The whole collection.

2.) My favourite albums in the collection: She's So Unusual - Cyndi Lauper, The Best of Bread - Bread, Can't Slow Down - Lionel Richie, Barry Manilow II - Barry Manilow, Abbey Road - The Beatles, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - The Beatles

3.) Steve Martin's A Wild and Crazy Guy, the little paper is the original receipt from 1978

    4.) My comedy albums

5.) My oldest albums are these three Glenn Miller records, all from the mid 50's

6.) My two 45's, Eye of the Tiger by Survivor and Roseanna by Toto

My 1978 American Tourister suitcases. I got the set of five for only $11 total. Awesome.  cool2

Sidenote: Having a record collection and suitcases from 1978 when I'm 17 make me look like a total hipster...doesn't it? D:

haha suitcases like that look cool, but they are so completely impractical -- if they are full, they are almost impossible to carry!

I got them because they were cheap and I was about to move across the country. Yes, they were heavy, but I love 'em anyway.  Tongue

haha not to say they don't look totally rad. I have a suitcase circa I'm guessing 1900's, which is made entirely out of wood.

Cool.  I like vintage luggage, especially tweed cases:

I might have fell in love with them after seeing Michael Jackson take his fedora and glove out of one before his Billie Jean performances:

I don't really collect anything, I hate hoarding stuff.  Too used to running away and losing shit to care about having shit anymore.  Grin

But I do buy a lot of books that I never get rid of.  Not antique books, not fancy shmancy books that would impress all you people.

Just regular books that aren't worth posting on here.

I don't have room to take a picture but I have some technical books on repairing electronics and I'm trying to make it a growing collection with 40 GBP a month and maybe some more. Most of my money either gets spent on food or transport to Central for meetups.
