Anyone remember Moonwalker? I used to love that as a kid. I had it on VHS. Remember VHS? I literally wore it out. We had this old top loader video player and the rewind button didn't work so we had to rewind videos by hand. I was devastated when that tape finally packed up. Damn, I wanted to be that little girl on that adventure. Me and a billion others no doubt. I can remember thinking "Wow, this guy can do magic" when he did the lean.

No doubt; along with the Dangerous short films and live videos, Moonwalker was what really got me into good music very early on. As funny as the video sequence was, the sheer funk of Speed Demon still has a hold on me:

LOL, how can i forget VHS?, we still have bundles of old VHS tapes packed in a store at my hometown

I remember Moonwalker and even played the game on SEGA mega drive.You know Steven Spielberg was right when he once said " Its a nice place where Michael comes from, I wish we could all spend some time in his world" Such a great loss, and indeed there is something magical about his videos that really does make you want to live in his world.

That was state of the art back then, heh. It still has all its charm. I think that along with the extended Smooth Criminal part are my favourite parts of the movie. Apart from the music video clips dotted throughout.

Alright, this is officially my thread of the month.

So much it's making me really appreciate music videos.

As for Justin, the dude's brilliant and what I'd consider the better torch-bearer for MJ out of all the rest (Usher, Chris Brown, Ginuwine, Ne-Yo et al.) and you picked my favourite song of his (Señorita). The Neptunes are so good (I'd say the best pop production engine in the 21st).
