    And it is just not gay fashion designers, but possibly female ephebophiles who have a lot to answer for regarding the fashion world. Heterosexual men have a lot to answer for in other parts of the media. I suppose exploitation happens in every industry and walk of life.

    Perhaps they all need to be cured.

    Yeah and you are just the perfect, flawless specimen of humanity to diagnose and cure everyone, I'm sure.

    Next time, when you want to insinuate that one group of people are responsible for something, at least do your research, and try to come to the "all people suck pretty much the same" conclusion earlier. Unless you want to appear like a bigot.

    You came in this thread insinuating that it's gay men who are driving anorexia. You have to provide evidence for that. Otherwise, you are only showing your bigotry.

    An article from that used tampon of a tabloid "The Daily Mail UK" does not count as "evidence". I provided names of straight men and women who are titans in the fashion industry. I can provide more. I provided evidence destroying the homophobic myth of gay men being pedophiles. You are the one making your claims based on nothing but ideological limitations.

    You may want to consider asking yourself why so many "other" people bother you so much that you go around making bigoted or borderline bigoted insinuations in many of your posts.

    One who is strongly partial to one's own group, religion, race, or politics and is intolerant of those who differ.

    Bigots also tend to accept evidence that reinforces their views and ignore any evidence that challenges their views. A tactic also known as "confirmation bias".

    Your pattern is pretty predictable. You frequently sail into a thread, make a passing comment that is bordering on bigotry, trying to be stealth about it. Then when you're called out, you play the "no true scotsman" game and end up with "well yeah all people are bad". Maybe you should begin with that instead of coming to that conclusion over and over and over again.

    Never said I was perfect, I am human after all. I am not in a postion of power to influence children/young ergo perhaps further down the list of those requiring curing.

    As to your second statement, as far back as post 12 of this thread I said that if straight men were at the cvutting edge of fashion (back then used the word control) then the models would be curvier/ wholesome, like the cover of Sports Illustrated. Elsewhere on this board I have mentioned the media being a dirty old man - straight or gay.

    My only hassle with all of this is not that I am not secure in my sexuality etc etc just that I think that the media etc sexualises our children. Not healthy.

    I could balme walt Disney or more recently MTV.

    Its a rule if you are gay that you have to whisper subliminally into at least one womans ear as they sleep to turn them into an anorexic.

    This is included in the homosexual protocols handbook that every gay has to read before being allowed into the cabal.

    The purpose is to subvert heterosexuality and to offend and torment straight men on media, social networks etc etc

    Yes cause gay men have SOOOO much power over women and over the fashion industry and over, well, everyone.

    I mentioned an interesting article -

    imo the catwalks could be filled with curvier/wholesome women if imo more straight men were the movers and shakers in the fashion world. I would be still accusing them of shaping women according to their visual needs. Like straight men do in other parts of the media.

    Evidence points more to straight people, who are the TITANS in the fashion industry are pushing women in that industry and the consumers of fashion and the larger society towards anorexia.

    So that may be your opinion, but evidence does not support it.

    They do so in fashion too. And in hollywood everywhere else. Media is largely run by straight men, and they all perpetuate the insane beauty standards over women. Gay men and women may also do so, but they do not run the powerhouses within fashion or the media. Straight men are pushing women to be anorexic more than any other demographic.

    Lol put my hands up for the first sentence - though for 'bordering on bigotry' read stirring. But i cite my first post on this thread today as evidence that I do state straight as much as gay are responsible for too much sex in the media - which evntually leads to the sexualisation of children.

    That's not giving me "the benefit of the doubt". That's you conceding that you were incorrect in your insinuations about gay people, and then you moving the goal posts of the argument, from who is promoting anorexia, to who is sexualizing children, then you admitting that straight men are just as culpable for that (though they are more culpable, if you actually go by y'know, statistics and evidence).

    I concede if you can provide evidence for this. Every other part of the media women are more curvier, bigger breasts, have a waist to hip ratio bigger than what we find on the catwalk. Yes straight men don't like them fat but that is far from saying they like them anorexic like they do on the catwalk.

    Seriously though, my posts concerning sexuality are more with the evil of 'sexualisation of the young' rather than what two men get up to with each other.

    I have been to gay clubs, when my lesbian friend said to me she likes women the same way i like women, I understood. Interesting times, asian gay clubs, london circa late 80's.

    Benefit of the doubt - concerned the fact that you were trying to pin the gay men/peadophilia link onto me, that was not my assertion, my assertion/insinuation was that gay fashion designers and their role in the size zero model. Not sure if size zero equates to anorexia?

    Moving goalposts? From size zero to sexualising children? Well the size zero 'debate' was two or so weeks ago - sexualising children was today for which staright men got it in the neck as well as gay men, right from the OFF (today).

    The size zero model is favoured by non gay designers, straight designers, female designers. Its perpetuated by model agencies run by women, and fashion magazines edited by women.

    Whilst there is a debate to be had about the size zero image, isolating gay designers as the progenitors of this is an example of bigotry. To suggest that what represents an aesthetic ideal of our era is down simply to the preference of gay designers is simply ridiculous.

    Well, to be fair, it could have been started by gay fashion designers, but all I'm seeing on that here is idle speculation, no real evidence.

Yes straight men don't like them fat but that is far from saying they like them anorexic like they do on the catwalk.

    Seriously though, my posts concerning sexuality are more with the evil of 'sexualisation of the young' rather than what two men get up to with each other.

    I have been to gay clubs, when my lesbian friend said to me she likes women the same way i like women, I understood. Interesting times, asian gay clubs, london circa late 80's.


    And yet straight men in media date super models, these same skinny 'gay' fantasy you push, no?

    I mean there is even social status in dating a super model.

    If curvier was always the preferred choice for men, which I would really only say is something taking hold more and more these days, then why are super models and models such a catch to be seen with?
