True enough, it could be a form of insanity as opposed to a distraction, either way, it's pissin' me off.

    Quote
So today I want to make one simple argument. That in order to ensure faith has a proper space in the public sphere… in order to encourage social harmony… people need to feel stronger in their religious identities, more confident in their beliefs.

In practice this means individuals not diluting their faith and nations not denying their religious heritage.

So, her theory on how best to encourage social harmony is to encourage people to be more confident in their divisive and chauvinistic beliefs. I don't understand how a more confident belief that "Muslims are the best of all peoples" or "homosexuals are an abomination" or "men are a degree above women" contribute to social harmony.

Oh wait... they don't. She's just a fucking culturally ignorant, socially tone-deaf, intellectually sterile, chronic attention whore saying some stupid shit.

Too fucking busy, and vice versa.

Anyone else think this may just be about more than simply 'one woman's madness'?

Possibly, when I think about it it could be a case of Cameron 'giving the dog a bone' to chew on whilst the government takes a more robust approach to multiculturalism than Labour did.
