I might like it then. LOL. I watch movies when I am really, really in the mood. So, I tend to enjoy them, if I watch too many movies, I can't get into them.

So Prometheus is not even worth watching? not even on DVD?

I personally would wait for it to come on TV, I genuinely regret spending money watching that fucking film.

I didn't break it down on the level of the reviews that I posted, but eventually it became clear the the movie had no direction (at the same point that became clear to me, the dude got up and walked out).... a pretentious build up that goes nowhere - I don't mean a cliffhanger, I mean it fucking goes nowhere. But you'll have to watch it to understand what I mean.

However, it looks beautiful and the dude who plays the android is outstanding IMO, those 2 things made the movie watchable - however that's it.

A reviewer put it well; Prometheus is to the aliens saga, what episode 1 is to Star Wars.

Brave was excellent, watched it with the kids last night. Seriously an awesome movie that made both me and my kids cry. It's a kid's movie yes, but it is worth seeing at any age. yes

Might want to wait for the directors cut. But I'm actually glad I went to see it on the big screen. It is visually stunning, pretty enough for me to say it was worth the money for that alone. But then, I am an arty farty artist.

    Superman reboot next year

Cash-in remakes are one of my pet hates, but this looks like it might be a total re-visioning of the Superman story. With Christopher Nolan producing it, it's gotta be something good.

yeah, was really bummed out when Nolan had to drop out of directing it - was really excited when it was initially announced that he might be doing it. still, should be a good movie - i think he had a big hand in the script.

Prometheus had no direction for sure. Enjoyed the experience of being in the theatre and watching it. There were lots of great ideas. Lots. Lots of symbolism and big questions. Too much. It  whad no focus and raised a lot more questions about the series than it actually answered.  It wasn't terrible. I still like it, but on a whole I was dissapointed.

Batman on the other hand--I've seen it three times. Cheesy

Well, it's David Goyer who has written it. He wrote for Nolan on the Batman Trilogy. And Zack Snyder the director is no small fish. He directed Watchmen and 300, both I love. Great writer, great producer, great director, plus a fresh leading man, Henry Cavil who cut his teeth in The Tudors. It'd be hard for them to make a bad movie between them.

should be good. i actually always liked superman more throughout my childhood - so if it's up to the usual Nolan-team standard, i'll be one happy boy
