What happens when you restrict and resign to logic and practicality as an absolute paradigm.
To declare the seen as real and the unsean as yet undiscovered.
To submit to current achivement and the possibilty of future.
To assume that morals shape themselves based on a just society.
Rational thinking as the answer to most problems.
A rubber box which is finite with what is at hand , and potential of expanding as the knowledge of what is known expands.
A generation with such belief will create yet another. Somepoint down the line,
a child is born he looks around ..and learns that his life is finite, science helps him with
what is known and gives him oppurtunity to add more to the knowledgebase.
Also there is an element of self, which can be enjoyed within the boundaries of the known
(and the potential unknown) , a finite life of say 100 years.
With all the corners of the Rubber box (with potential unkown) defined , he wil choose to stick with morals because its logical to do so.
Where does one get the motivation to bring in more life ? Why is it moral to bring children when women have to bear the suffering.
Is it cause its the right thing to do ? fun to do? helps humankind to have more contribution to science?
Does't science explain love as a chemical in the brain, which makes you defy logic for as long as the effects last.
One or two generations which live on logic, will probably start teaching the true nature of love and the brain,by the 5th grade.
Why is it that godless countries are dropping in population, its logical to release your chemical rush , enjoy the sex and get rid of the unecesarry burden of raising a child.
Is this Rubber Box a new god? Is it not a more confined god although it does have the "potential" to expand.
Am i assuming too much , maybe people just like morals without the fear.
But is it true that all religions have gods that induce fear/reward to motivate morals.
Is there any religion/study/belief which delivers responsibilty without fear / reward ? If it does exist do i choose it because its the best available option. Will i ever be motivated to know , since my quest is already over.
Why do i need a religion anyway.. or a god to worship , why do i even care if the next generation will refuse to have kids because its painful.
How did the concept of god travel to all humans throughout the globe..ages ago , when there was no connection between continents.why did they have some morals and reward / punish attached to most of them.
Whoever wanted to design religion to rule people in his lifetime , and yet had such a visionary plan so intelligently designed to enslave.
Whoever had , the complete understanding of the effects of creating a religion and the vision of how far it could go was also so stripped of morals.
Despite their intelligence , They were without morals.
