  • Do you create threads/posts that you delete before posting?
     OP - March 22, 2012, 11:41 PM

I know the temptation to choose the silly option will be too strong for some of you.  Grin

Anyway do expand on your vote, or point out the flaw in my options.......since most polls go down that route Tongue

I opted for "typing helps me find the answer myself".  Especially if it's a thread creation, as in advice seeking or stoned theorising.  I prefer to think alone, sometimes when it's out there, it was still something that should have stayed in my head until I was sure of how I felt with the answer I settle on.

Typing out these 'never seen' threads is cathartic, its thinking with a group, without a group, since I don't hit submit.

If I create it, the world needs to know about it.  grin12

Anyway I suppress a vast, vast majority of my thoughts well before they ever get expressed in any form, let alone published on the internet for everyone to see.

    how fuck works without shit??

I always feel stupid about my posts/thread so I usually end up never posting them Tongue

I don't usually say anything of any worth anyway.

i occassionally will type out a really long post... then
look at the post button and say screw it and delete it.

    It depends

Sometimes i find a lot of interesting articles that i would like to share but then i would thought to myself, no one would find it interesting if i posted it on the forum so why  bother. *shrugs*

I chose No I always post what I type.  I know I don't post much anyway but that isn't because I delete it before I do, it's usually because I don't have much to say or somebody already said it before me.    Smiley

    @thread

    Whilst it is fact that:
Os wears frilly knickers that he stole from cheetah
It is also true that it is my child-sweatshop-labour run factory in Guangdong where those frilly knickers were manufactured.

    Sometimes depend on the thread
moods, if it's funny I always find
myself tard posting, hmm.. now that

I think of it, my post always tard
anyway, for the serious thread, I
appreciate jokes,  it's cools the heated heads, makes reasoning easier,

I'm not fond of creating thread, I'm lack in language not a cunningulus I am.

Sometimes I wonder what the hell people posting about, have to read all over to pop the imaginary lamp on my head, always "not the soo bright dud lamp comes up".

Finding myself fumbling about others people intent, and myself don't want to be misunderstood, it's hards even with emoticon.

Yes, typing does, makes me think of what I want to post, and if it
embarrassed me, I'll delete it before
    posting.

I hope my post doesn't harm others, really..

And do please tell me if my post harms,
    sometimes I don't know what I'm doing ...

And now, I just think I shouldn't post this

uh...oh.. , os do really wear cheetah frilly snickered, I agreed to that....

I rarely create threads because I'm too busy reading everyone else's Grin
I have often started to reply to a thread and then decided to not bother, for whatever reason ... it's kinda 50/50 ... depends on what the topic is, how interested I am in it, whether I think my reply would be stupid etc...

    Yep, that's it exactly.

Once I've typed it, the thread has happened in my head, people have replied, or people haven't.  I can even guess who will reply and who won't.  Once that scene is played out in my head, I no longer actually need to hit submit.

That's only if my thread/post needed replies, if it was just random thinking, then I don't even need to imagine the replies or lack thereof, just the typing helps solidify the information in my mind.

Yet, even with all that I don't say or need to say, I still say a lot.  Cheesy
