Good job you were cool as ice amid the raised voices.

So once again I'm left with the classic Irish man's dilemma, do I eat the potato or do I let it ferment so I can drink it later?

    Very nice job mchawking! Congrats.

The guy sitting behind the blue banshee had a BIIIIG blinging cross.

That guy is fascinating. What is he? He has a Salafist style beard and a massive cross. I could have sworn that there is a yellow happy face (Smiley) symbol in the middle of the cross. The mystery is confounded by the fact that he never says anything during the entire debate.

Good job on your answers and composure mchawking.

Have you heard the good news? There is no God!

That is really awesome mchawking!! That took some serious guts to sit there and calmly state your points.

My thoughts exactly, funny part was when the guy who turned atheist from a faith school told his story she tried to twist it and say it was because of the faith school environment he was able to do that. Wtf Huh?

I would love to go on this as a representative of CEMB just worried about being seen. That woman in the blue headscarf really hacked me of as well at the skinny christian person who basically said you have children partially to save yourself from hell.

Yeah there were a couple of annoying people there, another one that stood out was the guy who compared circumcision to taking your kid to the barber.

Ohh goodness yes that creeped me out. Was thinking 'Why does nobody say 'What if someone's religion said cut off the earlobes of little children? Would you allow that and think it okay?'' They would probably say no I would not and I Think that is down to the fact that it is visible yet 'privates' are to be kept out of sight so no one thinks of them.

Watched the bit where you talked (plus a little bit more), mchawking and you did great! I thought you put across your points succinctly, quite a contrast to the hysterical woman in blue.

Defending Islam and succinctly just don't go together.  You have to waffle in your attempt to rationalise this silly religion.

Its a textbook example of how it works, isn't it? Hysteria, throw in a few (lets be polite) disingenuous things ("Evolution is in the Quran"), gesticulate if you can, raise your voice to scare people and drown out others, and create an atmosphere of hysteria to frighten or throw people off.
