    Not sure if this is the right topic area to discuss this considering that some would argue that illumunati isn't a religion but more of   conspiracy theories cult.


    Thought i leave this out to the open, what are your views on it?
    This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness.

    A clandestine group of elites who through grand schemes have manipulated the history and progress of civilisations across the Earth from the shadows, successfully keeping their identity and motives secret for hundreds of years, but who can't seem to resist the urge to leave clues on banknotes and logos of major international sports events?

    Yeah, sounds legit.
    Too fucking busy, and vice versa.

    The Illuminati was a secret society of freethinkers during the Enlightenment period. That's about it.

    I think at times the whole idea that certain logos or things are Illuminati based can be taken a bit over board. Can't it ever be coincidence that if i drawn a logo that it just happened to be Illuminati based without me actually knowing?. At times i think people just say that to satisfy their agenda of this is happening to the world, watch out etc etc.

    Also they say the people of this following are in certain industries ie hollywood, music, fashion etc. Im curious to wonder how if this was true how did they get themselves into it? I hear people say that the stars don't really know but the higher ups the management control all of this in regards to the logos, messages, lyrics etc.

    Is it to say that the cult when they have kids, they tell them to pursue these sectors to endorse their influence and message through various mediums of media? Did a mass surge of these people just invade and said we are the Illuminati, we are taking over.

     If there are any sectors that ain't illumunati based, then how do the people get it to be so?

    I can't say that there is any rationale for the Illuminati.  Why would the world's richest and most powerful people need a secret organization to control the world if they already do it openly?   Isn't the World Economic Forum basically just that--a meeting of the world's politicians and the world's elite?

    Conspiracies do exist,  but they are usually small and limited in scope.  The idea of a global,  centuries-old secret conspiracy strikes me as nonsense.  IMO the people who believe this stuff are guilty of both confirmation bias and hindsight bias in their 'proofs'.

    I agree with that and in particular with confirmation bias i personally think they feel it exists cause to some extent all religions talk about it and as a result of that people will confirm to in association, rather than looking at it themselves. Problem is in alot of instances where people have said it doesn't exist, pro Illuminati believers if you want to name it like that will say where have you been looking? You been looking at the wrong places? Look harder.

    I second that, it has come to a point in which it is getting annoying to hear that everything is a conspiracy theory and its jews involved etc etc. I think they have got that paranoid by watching too much news.

    The Illuminati are the stuff conspiracies are being made of, because those who accuse them of this "New World Order" shiznit are themselves mostly religious/lizard-shapeshifting-overlords-conspiracy-theories-believers/UFO-fanatics, etc...

    Here's the thing. The Illuminati are just that: "illuminators".
    I don't know if you guys know all these old books which had nice painted, big letters at the beginning of every chapter.
    The guys who painted all the stuff around the big letter were illuminators. Filled in the blanks, so to speak.

    But I digress (slightly).

    The Illuminatis are people who are "bearers of light", "pass the torch", etc...
    Like Prometheus, who helped mankind step out of the darkness. I hope the "plot thickens" by now.

    The founder of modern-day Illuminatis was an ex-Jesuit-seminar member called Adam Weisshaupt (coincidentally, WeissHaupt means "knows the head/leader" in German  dance), who realized what religions really were and how the royals oppressed the people. He thought religion was at the core of all evil and the system of royalty oppressed the average man and prevented mankind from stepping out of the darkness, by keeping us dumb and poor.

    Basically, the Illuminatis credo was "end all religion and destroy the system of royals".  Afro

    So I hope you know by now, why especially religious people or conspiracy theorists hate them with such passion and make them responsible for all of"Satan's work" (oh the irony, calling atheists Satanists, I think I've heard that before).

    Adam Weisshaupt's name in the organization was "Spartacus", which as some of you may remember, was the slave who fought against the caesar in Rome. The Caesar of Rome is obviously, as all of you have guessed by now, that guy in that robe, who thinks he's a god here on Earth and who's empire is in Rome..........you know who.  grin12

    So that's who the Illuminati really are and I hope some of you found this post, shall I say, enlightening.  Tongue

    It isn't that the general idea of some of these conspiracies is implausible. What I find difficult to believe is that the type of uneducated people who propagate them, are actually on to something.

    This is the same reason why dawah has made me pretty damn sure that islam = myth.

    However, I would like to know why pyramids and all seeing eyes etc are so ubiquitous in music videos and the like.
