Ok, let me start by saying that I hate change and this thing sucks.
Now that I've gotten that out of the way: I'm apparently one of the few whose profile hasn't been switched to Timeline (yet) but apparently it's inevitable because screw your freedom of choosing what kind of profile you want, right? My main problem with facebook has always been privacy. I am fully aware that whatever I've shared there is theirs forever and there's nothing I can do about it.
Because of the nature of the content of my profile (pictures, "religious leanings") I'm pretty paranoid about who I add as a friend, and who has access to what. So probably once a week I'd go through all my privacy settings and check them one by one. It would be a disaster for me if a relative or a real-life acquaintance took a look at it.
This Timeline thing, though, looks like the plague to me. I found this
http://www.pcworld.com/article/249019/facebook_timeline_privacy_tips_lock_down_your_profile.html and man, does it sound like a lot of work :/ I guess the easiest solution for me would to delete my account. But I don't want that because it keeps me in touch with people I'm too lazy to email

And it's kinda useful when it comes to music news, concerts, etc. So anyway, given what I know now, I'm wondering if it wouldn't be a good idea to switch vountarily to Timeline RIGHT NOW and spend some time going over privacy settings, instead of having it take me by surprise, maybe at a time where I have no internet access? Of course, I'm sure that's what Fecesbook wants me to do!
Are you using Timeline? What was your experience with it?
