That reminds me of this moment, that a swimmer I know told me about:
It is an extremely tight, almost ritualistic procedure:
- 4 chirps in the whistle, and the swimmers step up.
- a long blow in the whistle and they mount the blocks
- once mounted, the starter calls "Take Your Mark"
- they all tense up (any movement now can disqualify you), the hall is completely quiet, everybody wait for the start signal.....
And that was the moment one of the swimmers farted!
