When I googled pasty I was in a hurry so I didn't look at any pictures. But I suppose if a pie belongs on a plate or is eaten held in the hand is a matter of opinion. the Native Americans in my area make meat pies, they just call the meat pies, they are eaten held in the hand. So there you go two diverse cutures that eat meat pies held in the hand. That seems like a bit of a concesus to me. But you of course can have your own opiniion if you want. I am inclined to think there are a lot of things that could be classified as pies now that I think about it because there is also fried pies very popular in this area, but maybe more so in the south, that are small fruit pies that are deep fried and eaten held in the hand. And what about...

I saw this on an Islamic forum a long time ago and found it on my hard drive! I must have saved it for some reason. I have never been anti–Semitic though.

Spelling errors? Somebody else will have to check that I'm not a very good speller.

What I was thinking is that it doesn't cover many believes like reincarnation, Paradise earth, purgatory, levels of heaven, returning to one spirit, and likely many others I haven't thought of or know about.

Also I think you've misrepresented some of the believes you did list. Well, certainly Jehovahs Witnesses because they don't believe in a hell of torment those whose don't go to Heaven or Paradise earth are just gone, as in nothing.

I also know that there are some sects of Judaism that have very similar believes because that is what I was taught when I was very young. The part that there is no helll of ever lasting torment.

Allat you did however make a much better attempt then Pascal. Just seems kind of an overwhelming task to reduce such a far reaching topic to a graph.

Thanks Allat, I emailed that article to my self so that later, on some cold winter evening when I'm snowed in I can take a very thoughtful look at it. Right now I'm parked on the side of the road with to bad a headache to drive the rest of the way home from work. Took my meds soon sleep will take over and I'll have some pea e from the pain.

But what ever a person does if it is just for "fire insurance" and there is no sincere self motivated reason it is likely for not.
