End of the summer (inshaAllah). It was a HUGE deal. :/ They wanted me to go to a uni that's like 15 min away, but long story short, I got my way
. But they're awesome
I love them. The only thing they asked in exchange was that I tutor my younger brother and pray 5 times a day. (I do one of those.
)
And oh. Yeah my mum's always talking about Islam. Does your mum know that you've left Islam? (Sorry if you've already explained this somewhere else.)
Maybe you guys should like, watch movies together or something. That's a good way to bond with people without actually having to talk to them.
Make some popcorn, chill on the couch.....pick a movie without outrageous clothing so that she won't mind. A cute Disney movie!!! "Tangled"!!! Or "Up"!!!! It'll be fun!
Or you could bake together. Or bake her cookies? I don't really know your mum, so sorry if these are bad suggestions...
I know my mum and my sis ALWAYS used to argue. Their personalities are just too different. And even now, if they are near each other for too long (more than a day or so), they argue. :/ But what my sis does is (not my mum, she's too old to change her habits
) is cook and stuff, or when she gets frustrated she just changes the topic very tactfully. So that does help.
Sorry if those are bad ideas. :/
