I love Mad Men. Caught up with it before season four started and have been watching regularly since season five started. I agree with you Omar, that it's been a bit slow, but then again, the show has never been about dramatic twists and grand revelations. It works as a portrait of the time it depicts, with some very interesting characters.
The sure is pretty accurate of it's portrayal of sixties America. Unfortunately it had a rather negative influence on me. I started smoking way too much.
Christina Hendricks is magnificent. I was terrible disappointed when I found out her boobs were fake, though. They're just too much.
Really? That's news to me. Don't quote me, but I'm pretty good at telling the difference between fake and real and they looked pretty real to me. I would need a pretty strong "daleel" to support the claim that they are fake. Not only a "daleel" but a thorough isnaad.
Also I LOVE Boardwalk Empire and season three can't come too soon. And I have started watching the first season of the Wire and so far it's great stuff.
Boardwalk Empire was awesome. Can't wait for season three to begin. The trouble I had with the Wire was that I started watching it straight after the breathtaking epic that was Sopranos and it just didn't hit the spot for me.
I love TV shows
