I've been seeing stardusts awesome artist skills on fb, and it seems she isn't the only ex muslim with crazy amazing skills.

I'd love to see an art exhibition from ex muslims on behalf of CEMB, can only imagine how full of expression the images would be, especially when you see some of the offerings on this thread.   Afro

I did this in highschool in the early 90s. I did an art project on racism and this one was to show how religion was used for a racist agenda.

This was was a pencil drawing I did in college in the mid 90s for one of my projects

Did this one a few years back. I felt like painting one day so I went and bought some paints and a board and came up with this

No don't quit. I'm my own worst critic in photography and drawing. I see all the places I messed up and need to improve on. The less I'm satisfied the more people like what I do. I'm better at photography than drawing or painting but I'm gonna try and improve.

So Pepe, when you were a Muslim did you adhere to the ban on drawing/painting animate objects? If so, it is really sad how Islam just suffocates all forms of talent and creativity.

Painted these a couple of weeks ago: The first one (red) I was painting a rose on that canvas which I stopped lol and just left to the side because it bored me couldn't finish it lol, so painted over it. Let myself loose a bit.

I may have been inspired by something I saw sometime, it does give a familiar vibe.
