    Wotcha mean covert? Nothing covert about it. Tongue

    Anyway no, it's a security measure. Allowing anyone to use HTML in posts is dangerous because it can be used for malicious purposes. That's why BBC was invented: to sanitise HTML so it couldn't be used to hijack the place.

    ETA: Security is also why you can't use javascript and other coding languages in posts.

    You don't need to click preview. Just hit the options buttons. You'll need 800 posts before you get those options though.
