    This was hilarious xD.
    My brother and I were talking (He does not know I do not believe, but he suspects me).
    I told him "I think the concept of heaven and hell are not a reason for anyone to believe. They are just a carrot and stick held up by god." I added right after saying this "If I go to jennah, then I will ask god not to exist any longer, for I've live decades. I will become bored with the second life if it is everlasting joy." He flipped out and he's like "YOU ATHEIS... JEW!". I start laughing and tell him are Jews worse then atheists xD.
    Maybe I should come out to my family. I couldn't be worse then a Jew I guess xD.

    Yeah I know you can technically be both because a lot of people who have Jewish ancestry claim it but are not Jewish in anyway. I just kind of find it comical that he was trying to find an insult so he went with Jew. What he also defines as Jew is people that are of scripture. Which are a rare amount of people.

    Most definitely. I know many people in the offline world who define themselves as both Jews and atheists. If your mother's vagina was Jewish you're Jewish regardless of what you believe.

    I'm an agnostic Jew. Born to a full blooded German Jewish mother and lapsed Catholic father. Although I don't practice nor believe much of what Judaism teaches I still consider myself Jewish in a cultural and hereditary way. You cannot ignore it when your grandparents are German holocaust survivors.

    Ugh!  My youngest sister-in-law had a boycott list that could stretch from England to Israel. I got so sick of hearing how everything I loved to eat was haram because it either contained animal rennet or one of those dreaded e-numbers or was either made in Israel or made by a company which supports Israel.     Yeah I understand that a lot of jews are jews just by name they don't do anything practice wise. The person I'm referring to thinks to be a Jew you must be practicing. He also believes that "Jews have knowledge but don't practice...". He refers to either two things, either that they are just by name as in the first example, or that they "know islam is true but hide it anyway". It's kinda like the term Munafiq (hypocrite), wherein they think they walk around knowing everything is true but just try to deviate people when they are not around "true muslims". I live in a bigoted family, I might love them but they all are just set in there ways

    I'm only 16, but people do keep hammering me with the last one too. Or maybe it's because I'm 16. I don't present myself as an outright atheist, but I do voice my doubts sometimes. I think I'll stop just for the sake of avoiding hearing this.
